Credit for sticking with my food plan even though the scale went up instead of down this week. Usually this would be the opportunity for me to say, see, this doesn't work, I might as well eat, and I'm not doing that, not at all. Credit for reading my Advantages every day and for eating mindfully at almost all meals. Credit for getting to a yoga class yesterday after weeks of inactivity except walking on the beach on my vacation. Credit for taking my recently purchased Fitbit out of the box and getting help with activating it. And wearing it. Gratitude for my health, family and friends.

Got to my meeting this week, came to these boards and FB, and did my exercise. Am also grateful for the community we have here. It is so important to be around like minded friends.

Surfgirl! I just made a pot of your South African Butternut Soup! It has made the whole house smell so good! I took a small sample taste, and I think I am going to love this. Dinner tonight, along with some Dave's Killer Bread toast. Credit -- > Exercise, meeting, tracking, boards. > Menu planning now with sodium in mind as well as points and carbs. It would be so easy to throw in the towel and whine that it's too hard. NOT. Gratitude -- > Thanks to Surfgirl for the terrific soup recipe! > Thanks to Tammy for suggesting that I look at the amount of sodium I am getting, and for the reminder to add in more F&V. (That was one reason I tried Surfgirl's soup recipe.) I added up the sodium from one day, from the labels that I could still find. It was way higher than I realized. Today when I did my weekly grocery shopping, I paid attention to the sodium per portion, and tried to make better choices. > I'm getting a lot out of this GHG review. credit 1. Tracking 2. Reducing sugar 3. Did well out to dinner. 4. Not stress eating over the remodeling
gratutude 1. All of you. 2. Von's grocery store home delivery. No impulse buying. Healthy foods delivered. Have not been in a grocery store for 3 weeks. Free delivery. Get all the in store specials. Also get a few free products. 😀😀 then get 20 cents a gallon off of Chevron gas for the cars. 3. Weight is slowly going down. I feel better when tracking.

Got to my green zone this week, although I bounced up a little today - to be expected. Getting back to regular exercise and eating after Christmas.
ladymajky, Carol Ann, Good work! I used to have a snack of spaghetti squash with butternut soup/sauce and just a little bit of deli turkey. It was very good.
