Hello, My last ww mtg of the year, a great way to start the new year too. My DD and her family are coming up later to spend the night we are going to watch our Gd while they go to the movies. DH is making his famous  fried chicken dinner today. It's been a great year having you all here with me everyday. The struggle is real and your kind words and knowledge help me make it through the week. This year my wish is that we all get to goal and stay there. Happy New Year |

What an awakening to see that I had a gain for the year. That should shape me up! Thanks for showing that to me for a wake up call.

I am so grateful for meeting you ladies here. I am not giving up and hope to make 2018 a good year. I also went to a WW meeting this morning and really liked it. The Sunday morning meeting has a FB page and someone asked what our resolution for the New Year is. What I want (and I didn't put it) is to find Brenda again. I've been heavy for way too long now. I always kept my weight in check until my divorce 10 years ago. At the time he left I weighed 125 (OMG). Now look at me. I hide from old friends that I use to work with. So that is what I mean about finding Brenda again. I want to enjoy life and be happy (I pretty much do, but not like I would like to). I hope this makes sense?
Thanks for listening - Happy New Year and 2018 will be our year ;-)

Hello, Congratulations Claudette. Brenda, I get it! Good luck finding Brenda this year. Our ww meeting also has a FB page. They are expecting lots of people to join next Sunday. Mimi, I'm right with you that it's an eye opener. I had a whole year of ups and downs. This year I'm looking forward to lots of downs We had a nice day yesterday. I actually stayed up until midnight. I think I'll make a family breakfast & then have a lazy day & watch the Rose Bowl Parade. DH will be watching all the bowl games. Here's to meeting our goals in 2018 |

Thanks for all the congrats. I am going to work harder at getting to goal this year. This year I am going to work hard at not stretching myself so thin, doing so much for everyone.

Brenda,I do know what you mean. We have all been there.Life throws its curves and we have to bend with them. We can all do this.
I stayed up til 11 and then was too tired. We went out for dinner at 6 and I had coconut butterfish-yum. I had two cosmos-that was all.

Hello, Back to the grind today I should be all set with food as I made chicken & bean soup yesterday for this weeks lunches. I need to start exercising again, its been so cold I have not gone out to walk. I plan on doing a Leslie Sansone tape after work tonight. Have a great day. |

Good Morning and Happy New Year!!
Sorry to be MIA again. Back on track starting today. Cold is still lingering a little bit. I totally took a day of rest yesterday. Had our usual New Years Pork and saurkraut a PA Dutch tradition for NY day. Hoping for a positive 2018 and reaching my goal weight and keeping it off.
Nancy: Great job being the Biggest Loser for December.
Claudette: Awesome job on being the Biggest Loser for the year.
Brenda: 2018 will be your Year. We are here for you and staying here with you along your Journey.
Mimi: I tuckered out between 10:30-11 too. But did not miss Midnight as I was awoken by very loud Fireworks from someone in the neighborhood.

Kelly, good to see you. Did you have black eyed peas too? My DSon friend had pork, kale and the black eyed peas.
Nancy, I know it is hard walking outside right now. I am doing WATP to get my steps in.
Mimi, you are getting cold weather too. I have never had coconut butterfish. My sister use to make butter fish for breakfast.
Claudette, Good luck with the driving. I guess you really don't need to living in the city???
I am off to a good start with 2018. Sometimes ya just need to put yourself out there to get a better attitude.
