This challenge was created six years ago by a few Weight Watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isn’t always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

Happy New Year positive ones!! Feeling your energizing hug Sally. I love the start of a new month and especially a new year! Here's to positive things happening for 2018. Goals for the month are to stay on track with tracking, giving Freestyle a committed try, enjoy the birthday month. Goals for the year: To let go of the anger, worry and make positive steps for my health and happiness. So to let go of anger/worry, positive steps would be to cut back on the social medial time that bombards me with what my friend calls "joy suckers". Replace it with things I could be doing to make my like more joyful, like hey decluttering the home starting with my office LOL! wow what a concept that I haven't heard myself say before For my health, adding in daily exercise, concentrate on weights, find a program that I can stick to. Concentrating on my eating choices...eating to live not living to eat. Yes I CAN: -Get a walk in, get my steps in! Ordered new fitbit watch from my Alaska credit card points which will be here Friday. Hoping to be syncing again soon! =Track my day honestly =Eat whole foods today. =Smile Waving to all! Nat

A Happy Healthy 2018 to All!
Sally: Yip-Skip on staying in the 4's. Your New Years Day plan sounds like a winner. Looking forward to your trip to San Diego too.
Nat: Glad you are feeling better. The best thing about Freestyle is eggs! Great source of protein and filling. Any dance classes up there in Big Bear Mountain? Carol, Sally, and I are hooked into the exercises that don't feel like work...tap, Jazz, Zumba... Just movin' to the music and burning a few hundred calories too.
Janet: We missed your love and light! I think your goal for balance is one we all can hope for.
As for me, I am back in the saddle like everyone else. Love starting a new tracker. Yes, I still write it out manually. Just works for me to see it in print. Looking back, my weight is exactly the same as Dec. 3rd, so it was a maintain win. Now for the next (swimsuit and shorts season) five pounds.
Goals for the Year: --Jazzercise 175 times next year. --get some help in my caregiver duties. --get back to my bike-riding and beach going. --play that dusty piano. It's been years. --laugh more.
Sending you all a BIG 2018 push. We are doing this.
Jan
