Good Morning!! love light blessings Sally, Nat, Jan great goals, I am back in the saddle as well. Trying to think of what I can let go of in the new year.
Yesterday: I was OP, found a gym to pay a day fee to and got in a decent weight workout. Today much business behind work deadlines, trying to plan ahead stay OP and do something at the gym.

Good morning positive peeps! That's a good idea with the gym and day fee. My gym that I used to go to does allow you to pay as you go classes or use the gym for the day. I don't think I will ever get a gym membership again but I may try that and see how it goes. Jan the only dance class I know of here is a line dancing once a week at the senior center LOL. My first WW leader goes to that. I should ask her about it next time I run into her at Starbucks (I always run into her at Starbucks Lol)
Yes I DID: -Get over 10k steps yesterday. -Dusted off the treadmill and did 30 minutes. -Kept OP and tracked it all.
Yes I CAN: -Hop on that treadmill again -Keep to my OP foods. -Track track track -Get some rest in (bad night's sleep ugh) -Let go of friend's issues with DH (and now me oy vey). People are a bit kooky sometimes. -Limit social media -Stay positive.

Hi Janet and Nat! Hurray for your successes! So smart to do a day gym membership or classes, without a long commitment- that may be a good approach for you Nat. I am a creature of habit- so my Bang class/zumba and grudgingly body pump help bring me needed structure. I am feeling some post holiday bah, and am trying to respond to those feelings with autopilot healthy behaviors. It is also icy cold (right Carol?) and that has me feeling a bit housebound- scurrying from point A to point B rather than enjoying the journey. Face slap and getting with the program.
For today: -I will avoid sweet purchases -I will provide great counseling support to afternoon clients - I will use healthy autopilot behaviors to make it thru a cranky moment.

Good Evening, positive e-pals!
Yes, it was brutally cold today, but has warmed to 14 degrees now, LOL
Yes I DID: --enjoy New Years movie date (Star Wars again, LOL) and Chinese buffet with sci fi pals, mostly healthy choices, if a little too much overall --Fitness Circuit at the Y --monthly lunch with retiree pals --finish my daily steps on the Desk Treadmill
Yes I CAN: -- manage to prepare our house for dinner guests....MUCH decluttering needed....sigh
Sally - intrigued by concept of healthy autopilot behaviors. Can you elaborate
I'm fighting the blahs...trusting it will pass eventually but feel like I've been going through the motions lately, without feeling truly engaged in anything. I'm trying to find the sweet spot for enough structure but not too much, to get in balance.
I'm changing up my activities a bit this winter term: taking a break from jazz. I'll still be in Tap on Fridays. Was waitlisted for the community chorus but may try a small choir at my church that rehearses only twice a month.
Not happy with my weight loss progress... my weight graph looks like a child's roller coaster! Looking forward to starting that 10 day detox mid month Need a spark! Thanks for listening ...just a cycle...hey, I forgot, it's the perihelion! Yay!☀️💫
