Virginia, I would love to be in 50 degree weather! Enjoy your time with your family.
Debbie, so sorry you are sick. My DSon is sick with the flu too. Fingers crossed I don't get it.
Lou, fingers crossed on the job! Hope both you and Cecilia are feeling better.
Vicki, did you dig out?
The reason the tree company came is because the ground is so frozen. It makes it easier for their heavy trucks to get to the trees and not tear up my yard. The Ash trees in my area are being killed by some strange bug that came from Asia. So many neighbors are having to take theirs down.
I was slacking on the steps yesterday. I will make my 10K today.
Waving to Lori

Good morning
Brenda - I am glad the tree work can get done without ripping up you lawn. Part of the driveway is cleared. Just enough to get in and out. My daughter and I both have full size SUVs so that isn't a problem. I have a corner house and she tried to clear a small path. My son is coming today to finish clearing the snow.

Good morning.
The Emerald Ash Borer did a number up here in Chicago too. Thousands of trees have been cut down and all that remain are tagged and monitored by the city. At the first sign of trouble, they get cut. It's been a huge change to the landscape in our town as many mature trees came down and the new trees aren't big enough to throw any shade.
I'm at the doctor's office for my annual physical.

Good morning, Brenda - thanks for the start. It always hurts to lose a tree. That's great news that the work was done without damaging your lawn. Did you visit Colorado after the pine beetle hit the log pole pines? It was terrible to so many dead trees. Louis - are you and Cecille both well? I hope so. Vicki - that is so sweet of your kids to clear the driveway for you.
As much as I don't like LV I am glad to be here in 60 degree temperatures instead of 20 while not feeling well. I want my lungs back. Debbie

Whooohoo
Lou...you are a rockstar...a little Jameson on the rocks in your honor sir!
Does that mean you are not available to be the comptroller of my nursing home up here in the frozen tundra?
Congrats...you waited for the right position to come along

Thanks folks!
Sorry, Lori. I don't see Cecilia being up for a move someplace where it's EVEN colder and snowier than Chicago...
Debbie - bourbon is a cure-all for what ails you. Cheers!
