Good Afternoon!
Sorry I called you "Sherry" yesterday, I was thinking about my PT job as I have a day coming up, that is the other gal's name.
Great work on your bookkeeping, appointments and work items!
Resolution to two stressors!!
Car: We had a Ford Edge which DH had bought for himself a few years ago, which I "inherited". I've never liked it for many valid reasons. In our history of owning vehicles it has had an inordinate amount of expensive issues come up for repair. THe Subaru Forester is a nice size, not too big or small, and has great shaped windows for visibility for myself and teaching a new driver, we've been happy with Subarus before. Found a preowned, 2016, Premium (a limited would have been nice, oh well) with 26K miles on it, good low price, one owner, no accidents, brand new tires and new battery put in and traded in the Edge for it this morning. The idea is, is that when DD starts driving, in about a year, this would be the vehicle she would ultimately use. So now we are good, knock on wood, no more car issues for a while. We will need another car but ideally not for another 12 months.
Running Start: I believe this is resolved to a "no" after the meeting with the college counselor which I stayed out of. Editing..relieved, this is better, simpler, although DS is disappointed.
Dropped DD at dance practice this morning, early for all day practice. The "Competition Season" begins now! It's pretty intense.
The car thing took several hours this morning. I have run a couple errand for DD's dance team get together this evening, got stuff 50% 75 off funny gift items from BBB.
You know what is great? When the Forester is pulled in the garage, middle bay, between two posts, I can walk between the mirror and the post, straight on, no turning sideways, shimmying, or possibly not being able to fit at all, depending. Woohoo! It's silver by the way.
Hope you're having a good day. I need to think about what tasks I'd like to focus on at home now, later today and tomorrow.

Z, Great that you got the car situation resolved!
Not too much went on today. I had my first "Basic Dog Obedience Class". There are still two Brilliant Buddy classes to go so there is some over lapping this weekend and next. Clair can do most things required in this new class already. Just needs to work on not being bratty--this is when she rolls over on her back, squirms around incessantly and chews on her leash. I have made headway with this one by just standing and looking at her and telling her that when she is done we will continue. Also just so friendly but we are getting that sort of under control too.
I got my weekly grocery shopping done and a couple of other errands today. Dog walk, dog training, yoga. That was about it.
Hope you are having a great night!

GOod Morning,
Clair sounds like she's doing great. She sounds so adorable really. I can picture her doing the things described. She sounds very smart! Went to a Motley Zoo pet adoption event at the local pet store, became emotional in the store, embarrassing, pulled myself together. I'm not sure what we should do about another pet, if anything.
TaDas: -reclaimed the kitchen this morning -made Pillsbury products for people's breakfasts, easy. Orange Rolls and Lil Smokies wrapped in Crescent roll dough -rinsed previous sinkful of hand washed stuff -washed new sinkful of items, rinsed and are drying -emptied DW, reloaded, brief sweep
DD is super excited about the car and the fact that it has upholstered seats, not leather, and the idea it will be hers to drive around later. This is good.
Her event went well last night. The item I got for her was a Holiday GIft basket item from BBB, it was marked 70% off and I used a coupon which brought town to $4.86 plus another small items for %50 off at $2.50. I guess the kids were like , "Whoa...the limit was supposed to be $10.00!!!" It was a popular item..lol. It had Caramel Corn, chocolates, cocoa, a holiday mug etc.
I'm not sure what I will work on today, more later, hope your day is off to a good start.

Z, The gift basket sounds perfect. KWYM on getting another pet. It took me several years to be able to get Clair. Also worried that I would start crying completely out of control which I have done before at a breeders and had to leave. But the minute I picked Clair up I knew it was right in my heart (after several years thinking about it). She has been crazy hard to train (even so have loved every minute). Sam, the collie puppy, is a breeze. This morning I put on his harness as he set quietly completely cooperating. Clair at that age was like a tornado and two of us could hardly get her harness on. Such a difference in breeds. I have had collies and labs together for many years. Just love both breeds!
Had a headache this a.m. so I have been sitting patiently waiting for it to recede. Seems good enough now to take Clair to her Brilliant Buddy class.
Cute story about DD's excitement over the car!
Not much done. Drats on that headache.
Hope you had a great day!!!

I think we're related. 'm sorry about the headache. HOpe it's subsiding. There was a dance mom at the store, I'm sure she probably thinks I'm on meds or something. We are trying to talk as a family about what type of pet would be best and I think it's going to turn out to be a cat. I just need to put in my application in first and see if we get through to step number 2.
I CB'd a return today of a larger, semi expensive item I picked up yesterday. I like the idea of it more than that I would actually like having it every day, so back it went.
Crafting: Yes, there will more crafting. Pier One store had severe mark down on Christmas stuff. There were these Christmas chargers, plastic, but they are completely smooth on the inside to the slightly curved up outer edge, meaning no inside/outside part ridged/definition, got them for $1.00 a piece! Craft store had some paper on sale for 20 cents per sheet, regularly 1.29, so that was awesome too!
Thanks for listening, I really need to put laundry away tonight.

Z, Great job on the return! Which reminds me that I have one in the bottom of my closet that will need to be taken to the post office since it weighs a lot. I just love cats but can't have them as they are in high danger if they get out of the house. My old cat lived to be 16 and I just loved him so much.
Sometimes I think I should be on meds LOL. Glad you found such a fantastic deal on the paper. IMO it is so much fun looking at them!
Clair and I survived another Brilliant Buddy class. After class the teacher gave me a huge compliment about my work with Clair. Just so nice to have gotten this far with her.
My headache got better so I sped cleaned and vac'd around here. Thank goodness I could do that.
