This challenge was created six years ago by a few Weight Watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isn’t always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

Long day today, court, meetings, jail, work, do something at the gym tonight. I have a lunch meeting today in which I will do some damage but planning to put a grapefruit in my purse to at least avoid the dessert tray. It is a buffet which will help.

Happy Rainy Tuesday.
Started raining last night right before Jazzercise. I wanted to dance to Singing in the Rain but I guess it's not Jazzercise approved. Nat, I bet you are getting some of your much-loved snow. Huge So Cal storm. I took today off from WW as it was pouring rain this morning and I did not want to add to the mess on the freeways. First rain of the season the roads are super slick.
Yes, I Did... --make a pot of soup and prepped meals for the next couple of days. --2 loads of laundry. --bailed rainwater between showers. All barrels now full and it's only 4pm. More rain expected tonight. Sending a prayer for the folks in the burn areas. Flooding and mudslides are big problems.
Janet: The grapefruit in purse made me laugh. Bet the officers on duty to check bags wondered. The sheeter attachment for my Kitchen Aid cuts thick and thin sheets of vegetables and fruits to use for wraps etc. Still experimenting.
Carol and Sally: Sending healthy, happy vibes!

Late check in positive peeps! We did get some snow today/tonight Jan. I didn't see when it started as we had to be down the mountain for early court and it had been raining all night long. So many boulders to navigate through. I saw one person not so lucky this afternoon. Well he was lucky that it didn't hit more on the driver roof. Made a pretty huge dent in the middle of the roof/window. yikes. I had decided to take the long way home through the high dessert as I didn't wish to be praying all the way up as I was all the way down LOL! What a mess out there this morning. Parking lot full at courthouse, I parked across street and ended up stepping in about a foot of rushing water off the sidewalk. Thankful that is done for this month. Getting near the end, had some good news and not so good. Will be discussing with attorney later. Next court at end of February and that should be the last one. Knock on wood. So awful to hear about the burn areas and the deaths. California has not been very fortunate recently. I hope this does not continue. Yes I CAN: -Get up and get the rest of my steps in before I pass out. -Get some sleep, try for 7!! -Be thankful and positive. Gotta go, night all. Nat
