Yesterday was long but lovely. We were eight women around the table and exchanging gifts. The food was more than enough and today I have leftovers to deal with. In less than a week my daughter will be here so need to get ready BUT think I will take today to rest and relax.
Cherry: The moon you described sounds lovely! What a nice way to start the day! It sounds COLD where you are!
Lynn: I hope the dinner was fun and you sat with someone you enjoy talking to!
Beverly: How long will you be in your "new home"? It sounds like you are getting everything done.
Pam: You always sound so positive and very very organized!

Good morning. I am determined to get some things done today rather than slacking off like I did yesterday. I am going to exercise. Yesterday was almost nothing. I'm going to set a timer for every hour and when I have to get up to shut off/reset the timer I'm going to do 10-15 minutes of some kind of exercise. I'll do this until I get in at least 40 minutes total.
I also want to make a couple batches of soap, as I have 3 orders to fulfill. They won't be totally ready by Christmas, as they need to cure for about 4 weeks, but they can be used. They just won't last quite as long as they do after they sit for awhile. It allows the water in them to evaporate, making them harder bars and longer lasting. I will put a note to that effect in with the order.
My grandson is supposed to come out today. Whether he will or not remains to be seen. He often gets caught up in other things, like sleeping or playing computer games.

Hello beaches!!
Can you believe that it is 10 days till Xmas?? I have been doing some wrapping this morning. Tonight, my grandson's choir is preforming at his school. I can't wait. I have no idea where he got his musical talent, but he has a very nice voice. My late sister,(his great aunt) had a lovely voice, in fact, she sang back-up for Marty Robbins. She was the only talented relative that he had. I can't even began to carry a tune!!!! My sister got all the talent in our family. I have been blessed with other talents, that don't involve music. Grandson has signed me up to bring sausage balls to his Xmas party at school tomorrow. I just finished putting the batter together. Hope everyone has a pleasant, blessed day.

Hi all! Cathy, the dinner was lovely and I had very nice people to talk to. I did get home after 9:30 and we are having a tree lighting tonight which will last until 8. We are our out of town for the weekend and I have off on Monday to finish up my wrapping.

Christmas Lunch today with mom and her friends. Tonight we have tickets to see Rogue One. We are a family of Star Wars fans. Can you tell? lol. Luckily retirement means we can sleep in tomorrow. Keep smiling everyone.
