I'm IN.
ToDayJob is making up for being so slow yesterday... by being From He!!...
Cyndee, so sorry to read about your bird.
Good for you, Dina, to avoid two weeks of My Last Supper mentality before your WW at Work starts up.
Neen, sending good thoughts that your DMIL's side effects will continue to be manageable.
Pat, <muttering imprecations at your scale> for not cooperating with your efforts...
Kathy, nice that the car decision seems to have been painless!
Susi, I'm SOOO happy to read about Charlie (and to see his sweet face on FB)!
<waving> to all... must pretend that the DayJob has my attention...

diva49 Did I say it was painless, LOL??? But I have a *statute of limitations* where OCD rumination are concerned and ruthlessly pulled the plug! So, doubly nice that he was able to make a decision. Sorry *day job* asserted itself!

Good morning all. pbnj ,I know I'm the last person to ask this but are the "vanity" lbs for a cushion so you won't go over your goal or do you feel uncomfortable at the weight you are at now?I know I want to have a 5 lb cushion even though I'm not going to meetings.I don't look at them as vanity lbs so much as a way not ever to get over the top of the weight range WW set for me b/c I know how fast I can gain. borntexan Becky... I'm calling them "vanity" lbs because they don't seem to want to fall off on their own! LOL I'm mostly happy at the weight I am now---haven't been this low in 11,12 years. I know if I lose more it will come off "the top" (versus my "butt"). I would like to have more of a 'cushion' for weigh-ins every month. linda72 and susiq25679 Retain water? I know salt does but exercise?

pbnj,I'm sure your scale was being bad.I'm also certain it was fluid retention with as much as you exercise. They have a sign on our Curves scale...The scale is your friend...but it's not always. ksbruns,How's the knee?My left one has begun to hurt a little.I guess my right knee wants the company.I do have arthritis in both but at least I can straighten out my left leg. What kind of online mindful eating class are you doing? cyndee,I hope your bird is better. susiq25679,I'm glad Charlie is doing better. neen,I'm glad MIL is handling the chemo and you go girl on your flip flops. DebDoesWW and linda72,How is the rain in Houston?I think we have gotten a total of 1.5" in 2 days which is fine with us.Our temps aren't supposed to get out of the 50's for the next 2 days I think. It's 50 already at 4:45 and been dreary all day.

Those aren't vanity lbs.I think wanting a cushion smart.I wish a little more would come off the top for me.I already lost my butt.No padding there anymore.Yes your muscles can retain fluid. At Curves out coach/owner will allow us to weigh after a w/o but she won't measure us b/c we are still retaining fluid in our muscles. However she said she can even lose 1/2 lb after working out due to the sweating. So it's very possible your muscles could be retaining fluid.

pbnj @beckyw2016 is wise. Lots of exercise can cause sore muscles which causes swelling and thus, the retained fluids. Keep drinking the water and it will balance out. @beckyw2016 We've received almost 4" of rain this week. Cloudy all week and temps in the 50's-60. Feels like winter here but not too cold.

borntexan...I'm still being pretty careful, I'd say things are stable. With cortosone, you should have a real relief in the discomfort, but these injections are to add in cushion, so no fast relief...he said that *if* they work, it could be delayed as much as 3 weeks after the last injection, so at this point, I'm just relieved it doesn't hurt! My left knee is already an issue, just not as advanced. pbnj adding my vote to the others, I never exercise intensely on the day before WI (not that I ever exercise that intensely, LOL.)

pbnj adding my vote to the others, I never exercise intensely on the day before WI (not that I ever exercise that intensely, LOL.) I only do my "serious" exercising (Pool and land classes) on Mon/Tues/Fri My weigh-in IS Friday right after my aerobic class! But since it's always been that way it must just show the change from the week before not pre/post workout! Intensity is relative! Today it was very weak!

linda72,It started raining after dinner harder than it's been all day.In fact we got very little during the day. It's still 50 here but the weather guessers said we have a 90% chance of rain tonight and a good chance we will get woke up by thunder and lightning later tonight.I am ready for it to clear up b/c I haven't been able to walk in a few days now.I'm glad I have a gym besides Curves to go to now.

DebDoesWW,I haven't been yet.I called Silver & Fit to get Kenneth's fitness number so we can go to Anytime Fitness on the days I don't go to Curves. He just wants to work on his arm since he had a stroke several yrs ago after having surgery and it's not as strong as he would like.Since it's free now we might as well make use of it.We have a multi gym benefit so we can go to more than one gym.He can't go to Curves since it's just for us females so I'm hoping he will like it.

You betcha about relative...considering I spent the first 55 years of my life sitting on my duff, I still feel quite 😇
