We are maintainers who want to share accountability. This is a daily thread, but you’re welcome to post daily, weekly, or whenever it suits you. Share your weigh-in, or your progress in maintenance, or just stop in and say hello. Whoever shows up first for the day is welcome to start the thread.
Our focus is on our determination to maintain our weight goals. For some of us, just checking in to say “I’m here” means that we’re being mindful of our plan, that we’re accountable to ourselves and that we want to share that with others who are doing the same.

I surprised myself to see that I hadn't checked in here since Tuesday. I've actually been "here" but with very long work days and other "stuff" going on, apparently my actual check in never happened. deelm1966 - re your question about how many freestyle points for maintenance - I've been tracking on freestyle and also tracking calories on MFP for a few weeks to see if I can make freestyle work for me - I never got there with smartpoints. Also I'm in losing mode now, not maintenance. So I can't answer your question directly. But I agree with the advice that Kathy ksbruns gave you - keep experimenting and watch for long term trends. You've been losing for quite a while, so up your points again. I don't believe that any of the WW programs, or any other weight loss programs, are an exact science. You just have to figure out how to make things work for yourself. It's a lot of work to do all this, and for me, none of it comes easily. But in the long term, all the work has been very worth it.

Just a point of clarification - I said I'm in losing mode, but that's in my head, not on the freestyle tracker. I found that in losing mode there - 23 daily, 21 weekly, I was just too hungry and was going way above my points. I changed the tracker to maintenance mode so that I could up my points. Now I'm at 26 daily and 21 weekly, and still going above my points and still losing weight. (I don't swap exercise points). I hope to get to the point where I can figure out what I actually need to maximize my points and minimize my hunger, while still losing. Eventually when I get back to my personal weight goal, I'll have to figure it out all over again for maintaining. So that's an example of what I mean by experimenting to see what works for you.
And I agree with Kathy too about tracking - though I can't say I really like it. As with exercise, I do it because I like the results. I track everything, including all 0 point foods. I do keep portion sizes in mind - some of those portion sizes go back to the exchanges program and even earlier to the original program. A portion of banana is, and always will be in my mind: a half a banana is one fruit. When I eat a whole banana, it's 2 fruits. And too many fruit portions in a day is too much sugar, especially as compared to "unlimited vegetables".

susan092907, Good morning, I was glad to read your posts. Yes ½ banana will always equal one fruit to me, LOL! I am staying out of the general kerfuffle on Connect about the transition to FreeStyle...since I was such a huge part of the outcry on the switch to Smart Points. I am going to be interested to see if WW's stays as quiet as they did two years ago, now that they have a *social media* framework. For me, this has become about willingness because I just think there are so many means to the end of losing weight. And I'm in.

I'm in!
And thanks for the feedback. This week I stayed the same eating 33 points a day and all 35 weeklies. Think I will just coast on that for the next few weeks. I don't earn many fit points because I usually walk and Michigan is frigid right now but I expect to have to adjust my points again when I am consistently moving more.
