Lou, how is work going?
Vicki, congratulations on the new car!
Virginia, too funny on the color of your cars. My last couple ones have been either silver or black. I am ready for blue or green.
Debbie, congratulations on being done with the house!!
Lori, hope you are doing okay.
Met my step goal yesterday. It will be nice here today so I think I will walk on the towpath. I leave Monday evening for Florida. ;-)

Good morning, beautiful people. You're working a step streak, Brenda. Nice! I don't discriminate on car colors. I pick based on the color that looks best for the model I'm getting. I gravitate toward black only because I don't like the seam lines in the roof contrasting with the body paint. But, I've had blue, green, white, silver and black cars and trucks. First week of work felt more like a hazing ritual than actual work. Turned the corner a bit on Thursday and Friday, but I was too tired to notice.

Good morning, Brenda - thanks for the start. Will you have lots of beach walking time in Florida? Thanks for the workout dvds suggestions. Louis - black cars are nice looking.
You all have pretty color cars, since I drive on dirt roads, snowy roads and get lots of dirt on my car My last two cars have been dirt color called something nice like champagne beige. Today is a day of rest. I have to go to a memorial a friend is having for her mom then I am going to Colorado Springs to spend the night with DSIL and go to waffles and jazz Sunday morning. Should be fun and they have healthy breakfast items. Debbie

Wow Debbie waffles and jazz sounds like fun. Enjoy! Hi all, Thanks for starting us, Brenda. Yay for an outdoor walk! Florida sounds great. You have been rocking the steps. Lou, don't all cars look better in blue or green? LOL. I do like the appearance of a lot of black cars. Congratulations on enduring the week. Debbie, enjoy the events with DSIL.I love waffles. Vicki, I hope you are enjoying the new wheels. Today started with WATP. Then I picked DNephew up for his game. We met DNiece for lunch and now are hanging out till we go to a hockey game in a bit. I'll meet my best walking bud for an outdoor walk in the am. It is rainy here today so some of the gang mall walked. I hope that everyone is having a great weekend. Waving hi to Lori. Later, Ginia

Hi and Happy Sunday...
Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend...I am super excited for superbowl next week...Hoping I win the pool..gotta nice square..
Waving to everyone..Will catch up on the weeks events in a bit!
Sunny and quite nice today...went out for a stroll with the family...Oh...I will be reaching a birthday milestone in a few weeks...and the rapid decline of old age has started...Like Chris says..Lori...your not a young as you once were...!
I did something stupid...I was joking around with Phillip...tripped on his big foot...slid across the sliperly floor and broke my fall with my left wrist...with a bunch of mushrooms in my hand (making snacks for last nights dinner party)..HENSE the little bone in my left wrist has decided to shift to the right...my poor wrist...come on...Who has time for this! Urgent care fast tract (not so fast...3.5.hours)...big old splint ...late for dinner party...and a appointment with a ordthopedic surgeon tmmrw...Class starts on the 1st and Birthday happenings the following week..I could barely use the straightener on my hair this morning...Yikes!
i am hoping not to be sidelined for long... For now ~Lori

Hi,
Happy Sunday evening!
Lori, it is good to see you checking in. Oof! So sorry about the wrist. I hope that you get good news from the ortho doc tomorrow. Sorry that the urgent care fast lane wasn't so speedy after all. Hopefully you won't have to slow down very much or for very long. Wait, what? A landmark birthday? Enjoy all the celebrating.
Today was the outdoor walk first thing. Even though it was only 30 when we started, it was sunny and not windy so it was really pretty nice. It was super foggy driving from the downtown area to take DSis and DNephew home and also foggy most of my way home from their house. The walking trail was partially shaded and was slippery in places. I finally got my car cleaned up after all the cold and slop. I have run it through the car wash to get the worst knocked off but it hasn't had a really good cleaning for a bit. It probably won't stay shiny and spiffy for long but it looks great for now.
Back to work tomorrow, of course.
Waving hi to all and hoping that everyone had a great Sunday.
Take care, Ginia

Hi, Lori - great to see you. Ouch! That's such a bummer, I hope the ortho has good news and no surgery required. Virginia - I hope you have time to get your car bright and shiny soon. Yay on a morning walk with friends. Vicki - waffles and jazz was so much fun.
My time in Colorado Springs was fun, we had a healthy dinner, sat in the hot tub Saturday night. Sunday started with waffles and jazz, I only ate less than half a waffle. We went back to DN house, DSIL walked to her other daughters house which is only 3 houses away. We were talking and I was showing Kalea how to load recipes into my fitness pall when DSIL walks in the door all bloody. She tripped on the way back, we cleaned her up stopped the bleeding, no trip to the ER necessary. I drove home then. I met a friend at 3 Freaks for a beer after that. Very fun day. I am glad there are no cookies in the house. Debbie
