Good morning. Wow, we are in a ice world this morning. Every single school in the region of northeast of Wi is closed. Of course we did not get any more salt for the driveway...that would have been asking too much of my DH....sigh...so our driveway is back to being an ice rink. This wacko winter can just go away right now, I am really done with having ice storms once a week.
Marlene, that game was just about the best game ever on TV! They did say yesterday that the ratings were thru the roof. Too bad you don't watch TV, you sure missed a great battle.
My brother in law has lived in McAllen Texas for 11 years now, and he is still a true blue Packer fan...I doubt if he will ever become a Texas football fan, he can't stand them.
Phyl, we did not get the ice storm till right around 3;30 yesterday afternoon, but the worst part of it came once it got dark. I would go stand in the service door doorway, and just hearing it coming down, all crunchy sounding scared me. I was almost afraid to go to sleep, thinking the power lines would go down, with the ice. But got up this morning, and we have power.
Still raining here, but spotty...so glad we don't have anywhere to go to today...of course we would cancel. The only bright spot with this weather is all week we will be at least at 40*.
So, today I will focus on the budget for Feb 1st, along with making our menu for the next month. It is some I will follow more or less, with some tweaking every week or so. But now that DH is on SS, along with me, it seems like that helps alot. This will probably take all day to play with.
Tomorrow I am hoping we will be back to the Y..sure need it, I think I gained a pound over the weekend!
