I'm so tired this morning that I voluntarily paid for train station coffee. I was on a train last night that got me home 1 hour and 58 minutes late. Problems all over the system - mostly equipment failures like locomotives that stopped working. And on the eve of the new fare hike. Fantastic.
And I had to poop! I figured I could make it home at my usual time with no difficulty, but I did have salad with Sriracha tuna for lunch. So, those extra two hours were brutal! I was tweeting my intestinal dissatisfaction to Metra throughout the journey. That is what you're supposed to use Twitter for, right?
Aside from commuting woes, I actually accomplished a few things yesterday. But, I still feel like I'm drinking from a fire hose and told my boss as much yesterday when I said I was going to stop looking for problems for a while so I can finish what I've already gotten started.
I've never been to LA, Debbie. Since you're going in February, I can see how there probably isn't much to entice you. And LA seems like the kind of place that you only need to hit once as a tourist.

Hi, Louis - thanks for the start. What a terrible train ride you had! I would not have made it with clean pants.
Today was cleaning, body pump, TM and body pump. I can already feel the soreness settling in.
No loss this week but I am journaling everyday. Debbie

Hi, Thanks for starting us, Lou. Ugh, 2 hours late? That's bad enough even when you aren't ready to poop your pants. I guess the good news is that you know the salad with sriracha tuna is not only a righteous lunch, but one that also helps things get moving. I agree with Debbie that it is not likely I would have made it home with clean britches. I hope that the crappe' caffe' helped get you perked up this morning. It would be wonderful if the fire hose effect would be dialed back at your work so that you can get your bearings. Vicki, I'm glad that you and Teeny Tires are getting along nicely. I agree that lowering the daily steps goal might be good for Brenda while she is away. Brenda, are your ears burning? Debbie, I had to laugh thinking about what you said about car colors. A beige-ish (dirt colored, LOL) Forester passed me this morning as I was making the turn onto the side street that leads to our office building's parking lot. Thank you, DNephew's team won their game. You are getting so much done. I can't believe you will be moving to Spain in just a matter of weeks. Today has been a full work day. My to-do list grew but my done list hasn't shrunk in proportion. FPs tonight. No yoga today because our instructor is out of town. She is feeling better. I hope that she is finally kicking whatever crud has latched on to her. Tomorrow is WW first thing. Temp was 43 when I left the house this morning and will be in the teens when I leave in the am. Brrrr. Waving hi to Brenda and Lori. Later, Ginia
