Good morning June and AWF. Today I plan on KOKO. I'll go to my WW'er meeting, run errands, and show up for my appointment with the oncologist! Another busy day on tap!
I did pretty well yesterday with the food choices and getting better at portion sizes. I'm not quite 'there yet' so I still have work to do in that department.
Wishing all a great day!

Goooood morning everyone!
I deeply appreciate your encouraging words and thoughts. It means more than words can express. Am glad to be at "this" juncture. I am more than ready to put one foot in front of the other-- physically & mentally!
Today: Am starting a "jump start" to 2017 today. Will have to decide what that means, but I am ready for the big shift. How: will start my journal entry w/ an inspirational quote and a menu plan.

Goood morning, Ann. Am thrilled you have an appt. today! So much easier for each of us to put one foot in front of the other when the unexpected roadblocks have been removed. We both would have gotten "there"- mentally & emotionally- but it is nice when a smooth path suddenly or finally appears. Enjoy the normal routines in the morning. Sending you a hug.
Mj- grrrr--why do the PTBs think that adopting a new system in an already hectic season makes sense?Fingers crossed that your supervisor can make a quick adjustment. Glad that you have Friday off.
Audrey- you have right perspective on the holiday events. Enjoy!

Good morning! I'm so glad I checked into the "old" forum and found out about the move. I need to make this part of my daily routine - I need to make LOTS of things part of my daily routine - like tracking, and exercise and water, lol. Today is a new day and I'm here. Breakfast is planned - steel cut oatmeal with apples and 1T walnuts and 1/2 c skim milk. Have a wonderful, successful day. Dawn

Naomi- have a wonderful visit w/ your son. Ha ha ha-- I, also, get to be the center of jokes when DH & our nephews & nieces get together. It means that they love us, right? Yep-- those "aware" glasses will serve us well during the holidays season. What can I say? I like advance planning!
Dawn- hi! Nice to "see" you here. We all need to support in our lives. This thread is a great way to be part of a caring community. We are all in the same boat-- healthy routines need re-enforced because we had the unhealthierbfor so much longer. Drop in whenever you want. Great start to your menu today. Judging from your picture, congratulations are in order for a new member to your family?

Found my quote for today: "How far you go in life is yet to be seen." Sketched out my daily menu around good health guidelines & chicken stirfry for dinner.

Ann – It’s a start. And with everything else on your plate, it’s a GREAT start. Good luck today! June – Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful. Naomi – Enjoy your time with your family. How wonderful you are together! Welcome back Dawn. Hope you will join us often. MJ – Hope they get it straightened out quickly. How frustrating that they implement the new plan without having all the tools correctly in place. It’s f*ing cold and windy here. Charlie was very happy to wear a coat this morning. Is a KOKO day and I am planned and tracked.

Good morning, all!
Sending good thoughts for your oncologist appt, Ann.
Naomi, Merry Christmas to Leonard! I'm so glad you get to spend time together.
Glad you found us, Dawn!
Susi... <***> cold, indeed. Glad that it's dry, though.
YesterDayJob turned into a late-running fiasco. The cyberTimeclock failed when I went to punch out for lunch and I wasn't told that it was fixed by 5 PM eastern so I tried it again. But THEN I got an e-mail and my one other colleague on duty couldn't get to it so I opted to pick it up (and it was appropriate to do so). I ended up working until 6:30 PM (and I MUST learn to do all my follow-up paperwork/e-mails BEFORE I punch out). <ai-yi-yi>. Must figure out who can make the necessary corrections.
ToDayJob is my last working day before my final Friday off for 2016. Must be sure to tidy up loose ends and bank all fires - hopefully closer to 5 PM. I need to get used to the idea that putting the paperwork (cyber & IRL) in order is PART of the work day and not just something to tidy up "after it's over" - didn't used to matter, but now that I have to be on/off a clock, it IS part of WORK.
WHAT: I have tomorrow off from the DayJob so today - esp this afternoon - must stay on track. Doesn't mean that my food/nutrition needs should wander away...
HOW: I've had a healthy bkfst and there is a PLAN for lunch & dinner. I'm actually going to prep the protein for Friday dinner today. I CAN and WILL Take Care of Mj.
Have a healthy-eating day, all!

Good Morning!
At work - another crunch day at work due to going on holiday break but a good day none the less:) We are having lunch catered in from Olive Garden today. Pasta bar, salad and bread sticks and desserts brought by our small district office staff....good times. I'm going to enjoy small portions of Olive Garden and a couple bites of the desserts that look the best to me.
I read everyone's posts last night but was just too tired to reply...but Ann, I am so happy about your news! Good luck today and keep up posted:)
June, I know you have a lot going on as well. Sending positive vibes and thoughts your way!
Naomi, have a great time visiting with family - sounds like y'all are having a great time!!
Hi Dawn!, Glad you are here and hope to see you around. Join in when you can!
Susi, hope you are well and warm!
CBL - everyone have a great day!

Today: Am starting a "jump start" to 2017 today. Will have to decide what that means, but I am ready for the big shift. How: will start my journal entry w/ an inspirational quote and a menu plan. June, I really like the quote you chose:"How far you go in life is yet to be seen."I'm noting it in my DayJob tracker (a good 5-yr journal is on my Christmas list).

Good Morning I am going to skip personals to get out and do errands early. I am picking up laundry and dropping off Hanukkah gifts for a friend's children. Our rain began early and it is supposed to be quite a storm today so I need to get out while the streets are less crowded. Ann, best of luck with the appointment.
