Prayers Neem Charlie appears to be doing very well, thank you Deb. LOL on the cats. My 3 swear that I starve them, but lots of times I have caught Charlie at their bowls so they may have a point. Hi Kathy, Lindy, Marchby, MJ, itβs pretty ugly down the road from you too. I am planned, packed and tracked. Have most of tomorrow tracked as well. WI was within the 2 lbs. but I'm working on a little more of a cushion. Probably didn't help that I drank about a quart of water at spin this morning. I don't usually have that much before breakfast.

neen,prayers for MIL.Enjoy yoga.
linda72,It is thundering now and it just started raining again. We had a good rain last night and around 3:30 this morning.I hope you can get to WW.I remember when my DB lived in Houston it flooded(he lived near Nasa)and he and a neighbor had to get to the grocery store in a boat.
Deb,I don't know about Houston but at 5 this afternoon we only have a 30% chance of rain and then it's supposed to go away tonight. We can only hope.
susiq,WTG on staying free at WI.Scooter also likes to eat the cat's food if I leave the bathroom door open.
Hoping the rain lets up around 10.Planning to go to AF.I am already signed up but need to get DH signed up so he can work on his arm.We have a few other errands to run but I said we are eating lunch at home today.
Have a great day all!

Checking in this morning before heading to a doctors appt for myself. The laughs are making me smile which is a good thing. Focused on moving forward slowly but surely. More later.

Checking in. I'm dealing with the second day of the second day of the stomach flu!
Yesterday I couldn't even keep fluids down. They gave me meds for that. Today I kept some fluids and 1/2 rice, but now I'm pooping my pants!
I feel like I've been hit by a MAC truck, I'm not sure I've ever been this sick.
If you have any suggestions on how to handle the nausea or especially the leaky bottom I'd appreciate it.

Sorry Heather, sounds like you are really getting hit. All I can think of is Imodium, and just do fluids for now. Feel better :/

hpeterson1951 I'm so sorry you're feeling poorly. I hope you feel better soon. I made it to my WW meeting. The theme was about eating mindfully. These meetings really seem to be following the Beck Diet Solution chapters which is good and I enjoy. The rain has stopped for now. We've had 6" of rain this week! Another round is expected tomorrow morning before it moves on. It's cloudy and cool now so the rain has a chance to drain.

Thanks Deb. I'm drinking peppermint tea right now and that's helping with the queezey stomach. The medicine helped the actual vomiting to stop, but I have to wonder if that's what started the other end
Or if it's just part of the virus. This is just really nasty.

Checking in late today. I hope everyone who's not feeling well feels better soon, people and animals included!
The stomach flu is really horrible. The only good thing is it doesn't usually last too long.
Busy day at work and heading to yoga tonight. Today was drizzling and gray all day but I'll take it over snow any day.

hpeterson1951, not to throw another diet at you , try the BRAT diet, bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. They are binding foods. You can google BRAT and get more info

Back at rehab. They're moving dh to a private room this afternoon. My doc told me good job taking care of myself. On that note, heading over to Workout in a bit. Definitely tracing and moving forward. I'm still smiling, hope you are as wee.

hpeterson1951 Sorry you are feeling so sick. It's a shame we don't have better meds here in the US for this type of bug. When we were in Portugal they gave my husband a pill that dissolved under his tongue and it stopped the vomiting and diarrhea immediately. Wish it were available here. Feel better soon!
