I LOST .8 at WW. ADAM WHO LIVEES ON THE SAME FLOOR NOW IS GOING TO WW WITH ME on Wednesdays., He gets vouchers too. My doctor I asked to write a letter to WW with an initial goal of 199. She just said my WW goal is 199. So I got in free. I got an e tools voucher. I am paying for online for Adam. I gave him my other laptop to track etc. i finally figured out food yesterday. i added 10 cherry tomatoes a day which is about 1/2 cup. so 4 apples and 10 cherry tomatoes. i find it easier with relief to have my goal so high. I am not bound by artificial goals of losing so much a week or my total loss desired. i figure that if I add WATP and eventually pilates I will lose if I eat what i decided to daily yesterday. 376 of my calories are 4 apples. I do not know how fast certainly not as fast when I was younger. i just can't get down about it.

Good morning
Amy thanks for the start. That's great you have someone going to the meetings with you!! Sounds like you are getting things back on track.
Debbie how is your ankle?
Waving to Mo
Still feeling yucky, but better. I will walk on the TM for a bit.
My cousin walked in a March last week in Richmond. A friend asked me to join her in DC on Saturday, but not feeling good and still have stitches from my procedure. So I declined. Other wise I would have been there!

Debbie your diet sounds interesting and doable. I tried one time to be good from 7:00 p.m. Sunday night to 7:00 p.m. Friday night. The rest of the weekend I had what ever I wanted. I lost 25 lbs.

Good morning all! Thanks for starting us Amy!
Amy, that is very kind of you to help out your neighbor with online WW. I agree with Brenda, sounds like you're getting back on track. WTG with your loss!
Amy, I hope your march goes well on Saturday! I would love to go on one of these marches and it's especially important these now!!
Brenda, if my foot was better I think I'd go to the Washington DC march. Sorry your still not feeling well enough to participate. If you hear of another one and would go, let me know and maybe I could drive down and join you!
It's gotten to the point where I just can't look at the news anymore, I get so stressed that I get pretty bad neck pain! So if you all hear of any marches in the Syracuse to DC corridor let me know! And for gay rights, black rights, etc, as well as women's.

It so hard for me to stay away from the scale! But I know I have to stick to just once a week or I may get discouraged and give up on my diet plan! I thought it would be really hard for me on this diet but surprisingly it's working quite well for me! I think if I were able to walk and/or run then I'd have a problem with not enough carbs but for spinning, the gazelle and/or weight machines I'm doing fine. Hopefully I'm losing weight too!

It is not low fat, you are encouraged to eat normal amounts of healthy fats. None the less it is extreme and only for those who need to lose a large-ish amount of weight quickly for health reasons (such as surgery). It my case, I truly feel that my foot and knee are not going to heal properly until I get a significant amount of weight off quickly. I think the bone stimulator machine is helping but I need much more weight off before I try walking/running again -as I learned the hard way!

Amy, Brenda, thanks for talking about the women's march this saturday -I just discovered that there is a 'sister march' going on here in Syracuse as well as elsewhere in central and western new york. So I have signed up. I've never been to a march so don't know what to expect? Anyone want to share their experiences? Our march is saturday in downtown syracuse from 10am - 11am.
Thanks Amy! I'll let you all know how the diet goes! I'm eating a lot of veggies, tuna, roasted chicken, eggs, protein shakes, lowfat cheeses, salads, and grapefruit.

WTG with the exercise Amy!
So far I've done 30 minutes on my Gazelle at home this morning. I plan to go to the gym after work for a spinning class. I went to the gym last night for the arm weight machines and a spinning class and my knee and foot felt better this morning so I need to go more regularly to the gym for spinning. I did not stand up any during spinning class, which was difficult for me, I was so-o tempted!
