We are a group of like-minded people that gather to discuss a host of topics from weight loss, to current events. Our thread celebrates liberal diversity, welcomes new friends, and respects all opinions. We count everything from calories to points but, we never count our chickens before they are hatched.

And the JA's lawyer paid the money to Stormy Daniels out of the kindness of his heart. Sure! That's a believable story alright. Not!

Have you seen this article about Mnuchin's wife Louise Linton? Honestly, that these people think this is normal behavior just boggles my mind. Totally clueless and classless. www.cnn.com/2018/02/13/politics/louise-linton-new-profile/index.htmlAnd yet, Republicans were shocked that Michelle wore sleeveless dresses and bared her arms. We won't even mention what the current First Lady publicly bared.

It's just rampant throughout this entire administration . . .
"The chief of staff for Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin altered an email and made false statements to a department ethics official that led to taxpayers covering expenses for Shulkin's wife on an official trip to Europe last summer, the agency's inspector general said in a report released Wednesday.
Vivieca Wright Simpson, Shulkin's chief of staff, altered language in an email regarding the logistics of the trip that led to the department paying $4,312 in airfare for Shulkin's wife, Merle Bari, according to the report.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Inspector General referred those allegations to the Justice Department, which decided not to prosecute at this time, according to the IG report. The investigation additionally found that Shulkin improperly accepted tickets to a Wimbledon championship tennis match during the trip, directed a VA program specialist to plan leisure activities for himself and his wife during the nine-day trip, saying that the aide "effectively acted as a personal travel concierge" to Shulkin and his wife." -- article on CNN's website

So, another school shooting. SIGH! Of course, this would not be the time for a discussion on gun violance, just send prayers! ( sarcastically typed). UGH! How many times, how many kids will it take! Totally disgusted, here!

It seems it's never the time for a discussion about gun violence. Maybe what it would take is for it to be at some Congressman's kid's school, although I would never wish that on anyone. Just saying maybe they would take it more seriously, but I doubt it. When a Congressman was shot last year and when Gabby Giffords was shot it didn't do a thing to bring it to the forefront. As long as the NRA has deep pockets and contributes heavily, there will never be a time to discuss this issue.
