Hi, Lori - I am so happy to hear that your folks are doing better. We fly out March 7. The cast is on? Is that a good thing. The move is getting very real, my wish list of items to take is bigger than the suitcases.

Lori Wonderful news! I am so glad that your parents are feelin better. AJ is off on Monday. If it's nice we will go to the park. We will also go swimming at the Y.
Debbie Wow in just a couple weeks you'll be living in Spain. Can you have some stuff shipped? Or is that to expensive?
Lou Good coffee is a necessity of life. Keep searching!
Brenda and Ginia Great steps today.
I still plan to announce my plan to retire on Tuesday but I'm really nervous about the decision.

Hi,
Happy Sunday to all. Lou, I hope that you had some really good coffee at some point this weekend.
Debbie, I have a hard enough time packing lightly for a domestic flight and a few days away. I don't know how I would do packing for years away overseas! The struggle is real, I am sure.
Lori, what transpired with the cast? Did you avoid surgery on the wrist? I am glad that the 'rents are in rehab instead of the hospital. That's one step closer to getting strong and well enough to go home. The flu has been so evil this year. The littles are well, I hope to visit them again in April. Everyone has been healthy for awhile. Both DS#1 & DS#2 had mild cases of the flu. No one else in the family has had it so far.
Hi Vicki, retirement is a big step. Congratulations! I keep working on DH to understand that it is more than just stating a date. I am at a deficit because I am two years younger than DH. Thanks regarding yesterday's step count. It was better than I would have anticipated.
Waving hi to Brenda!
Today started out with meeting my best walking friend for 6 outdoor miles. The drive to get to downtown EVV was foggy and I found that the overpass to get onto the interstate near my house was slick. No problem for me as I slowed more than usual in anticipation of it being slippery, and no issues on the rest of the drive. It was cold but sunny with no wind. I am planning to do a HM on 4/15 and continuing south to visit DS#1 and family after that. Yesterday I did a 5 mi WATP with resistance band. We got some wet snow yesterday morning so I am really glad that the outdoor walk was today. I worked for a bit yesterday afternoon and I have some additional tasks to complete today. It's nice to see the sun today and also the warmer temps are very welcome.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
Take care, Ginia

Hi, folks.
Tried Donut Shop coffee on the Keurig today. About eleventy bazillion times better than that Green Mountain Fair Trade stuff.
Why are you nervous about announcing retirement plans, Vicki? You put in your time. Nothing wrong with wanting to do something else.
Rule of thumb, Debbie: Clothes, your laptop and the jewelry you plan to wear. You can forage for the rest in Spain.
Six miles walking, Virginia? In winter? I dunno...

Hi, Lori - we are going to fit everything into our suitcases. We each get to checked bags and two carry on.Happy Retirement! It is so great, come visit me. Virginia- yay for sunshine and a nice walk.
Today we took a long walk, Columbine High school is about 1.5 miles from us. We walked there and walked around the memorial for those shot during that tragedy. There is a huge park with nice trails there. So I have my steps for today. It is in the mid 60s and perfect outside. I cleaned the interior of my car. Snow coming tomorrow. My weight is getting out of control. The final countdown is getting to me. Debbie
