Good morning everyone! Busy day ahead, I have to post and run. I did not accomplish my activity goals from yesterday, sigh. Fortunately I couldn't sleep the night before and got up early for PT and a nice meditation. The good news is, after going to bed I slept like a log and am now well rested. Daily Affirmation - Today I will be vibrant and active. Fitness Report - Mat PT and a Jason Stephenson meditation for a positive day. Health Goal - Move more, eat well. Gratitude - My cooking genes.

Michelle: Cyberspace ate your post! Thats not good. (Been there.)
Pat: I recall, long ago, you mentioning you'd had an ongoing muscular-skeletal problem. As I wrote yesterday, I couldn't recall what it was. I imagine the walking with weight would be good for anyone who starts to develop the curvature of the spine (as I see in DM). I don't know. I should ask her if anyone has suggested it. For me, I suspect it would help a bit, just by keeping my shoulders back. (I'll ask around before I commence that practice.)
Anetta: Thank you for the meditation suggestions. I didn't know I could "sort" my bookmarked favorites in IT. I'll have to go in and check that out. I have a lot bookmarked. I love Sara Blondin. (Thanks to you. I probably wouldn't have discovered her otherwise. DH even loves her.) I'll check out some of your other faves; we seem to like the same things.
I discovered a new yoga (Youtube) series. Today will be Day 3. Yoga with Adriene. Its a 30-day program. I really like her. She's starting with basics and offers alternatives for those of us with less yoga experience and flexibility.
Yesterday, I joined DH at "Barbell Club". I am so glad I did. It was a good strength-training and conditioning workout. I avoided the squats (due to my knee) but doing some steps (onto a box) caused no pain. Yeah! And, best of all, the class was led by my favorite trainer. He is so good, making sure everyone is using proper form/technique, and not overdoing. Today, I'll go for a solo workout and see if my knee will tolerate some gentle dance steps. I suspect twisting/turning movements would be the problem. The workouts are doing my mental health a world of good. I'm suffering from some health anxiety right now brought on, in part, by my IBS and also ignoring other parts of my health for a long time. (My joining WW last March was my first step in the right direction.)

Daily Affirmation: I invite peace and calm within myself.
Fitness Goal: Gym time (strength, conditioning, test out the knee with a few dance moves.) And a half hour yoga with Adriene.
Health Goal: Maintain peace and calm within myself.
Gratitude: This just in. The sun sets at 5:01PM today. I am grateful for the longer daylight hours.

Susanne, I too, am grateful for longer days! Yay! Spring will be here before you know it! I've been filling my calendar the past few days with industry events and I'm already feeling like 'where did winter go?' oh, no!
I went to an all day design seminar today. A 5 person panel of people in my industry talked about their businesses, how they started, shared pricing, money they've made, lots of other 'secrets' which was really enlightning. There was one girl who does only design, which was really inspiring because I've had others tell me there is no money in that. This girl is making it work, and shared how, YOWZA, I'm pumped!
affirmation - I can make it work if I work hard enough and believe it to be! health goal - no more food for today fitness goal - practice swing dance with DH.. for like an hour, haha! We need to solidify what we've learned so we can learn the cool stuff. gratitude - my DH. He is so wonderful in soooo many ways I cannot even count!

Good afternoon! Feeling a bit under the weather today so will make this a brief post...
Daily Affirmation - I honor the needs of my mind, body, and spirit above all else. Fitness Report - Walking and household chores. Health Goal - Mindful eating, stay hydrated. Gratitude - Allowing myself to take a much-needed nap.
