Hi Everyone June, you have a great plan for the day. I should be able to start the day with a long walk because there is supposed to be no rain until late this evening. One thing I learned doing Beck exercises was to park my car farther away from stores. I still do this and don't move it if I am going to more than one store in a shopping center. It also protects the doors from dings. Today is my day to plan meals for next week. In the morning I will watch the inauguration and we want to go to Costco after lunch. We are going out to dinner with friends tonight but have made a pact to not discuss politics. There is so much more to talk about. I did well yesterday handling the reduction of caffeine so the headaches and grumpiness haven't kicked in. I am glad I cleaned the pantry because now I can put the herbal teas where I can see them. Also I now have a use for more of those Meyer lemons; I will put lemon in hot water. I hope everyone slept well last night and I will be back later today.

Awesome June. You are starting to sound like the June I first met before the foot surgeries! KOKO. Audrey - Kicking caffeine is difficult. I had to do that when I hit menapause. From 12 cups of coffee to 0 was not fun so I feel bad for you until you get through this part of it. I am off to the gym for triple threat - HIIT, weights and core. Breakfast is planned, but I don't know yet where we are going for lunch and tonight kicks off the first Elks charity event of the year with a beef and brew. Filet mignon and wine are on my plan. Fortunately I have no other challenges this weekend so I can afford a minor indulgence.

I told the My Dr. I could not go through that again...Now. Go and see a ENT Dr. The soonest is 31 this month ,I told him I am going to cancel the Neurologist appt and he said to do that. So now I need to go pick all those test up today ...oh it must have started in m Sinus and then into my Bone. ..
Yesterday I was on a self Pity Party but today I feel better.

Good morning June Audrey Susi Naomi and AWF.
WTG June!!!! Congratulations on getting in your 10,000 steps. Hope you wake up feeling refreshed. KOKO GF!
Audrey nice that you have your herbal teas front and center. I hope the grumpies and headaches stay away today as well.
Susi enjoy the gym and your dinner out. I agree, it's not easy ditching the caffeine. When I worked I drank a lot of coffee now I've cut back gradually.
OMG Naomi, you surely have your share of health issues to deal with as well. Praying and wishing you the best on your appointment on the 31st. The waiting is the PITS.
Last night after supper friends that used to live in the park stopped over for a visit. Y'all know how that goes...I was NOT hungry, but ate snacks and chatted just the same. It was a great time and we enjoyed ourselves, and all I can say is today IS another day...I'll 'turn the page' and KOKO.
Going to plan my day in a few!

Naomi - Okay you have a diagnosis and now you can see what to do about it. Hugs and prayers. An old favorite quote of mine - "It's okay to sit on the pity pot. Just remember to get up and flush." Sounds like you did that. Ann - Friends happen. At least you had a good time!
HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training. It varies but today was 20 seconds as hard as you can, 10 seconds rest. Repeat. Repeat.

Susi-- wonderful that your planned indulgence features food/beverage that are worth each and every SP. we had prime rib for DH's birthday today. Enjoyed every bite of the meal & stayed OP. Ha ha ha... I just had a thought-- you pretrack & preburn calories. Thanks! I do feel more like me.
Audrey-- luckily you like a variety of tea and have all those wonderful lemons. Love that you are focusing on what you are gaining from the switch and are giving your body time to adjust. Maybe the first day is the worst and today will be better? Sure hope so.
Naomi- ohhhhh, I cannot even begin to imagine how you are feeling. Am so sorry. Sending you heartfelt prayers and a hug. Knowing what you experienced before, why wouldn't you be upset? You had every reason to be. Am praying that the infection can be halted as soon as possible. Is there any chance that you could get on a waiting list for a cancellation at the ENT's office? Please let me know if I can help.
Ann-- so nice that you could let your hair down and take pleasure in the visit. You may not have been able to do that for awhile. A few nibbles, a little wine, along w/ a nice visit are just what the doctor ordered.

Ann, you know you can vent here. I think we all have soem 'Negative Nellies' in our lives. Great attitude on the acts during a friend's visit. KOKO is something you are really good at, Lady!
Oh, Audrey, so sorry for the loss of your dear friend's Hubby. Do not get me started on what the medical profession has become in our time. Praying for her family and yours. WOW! That's a weight loss! I wish I had learned to meal plan for a week --- but I never did. Yes, there is so much more in life to talk about that politics. I do hot water with lemon and fresh ginger. Enjoy your day.
Tam, what a treat --- popovers and spinach frittata --- and beyond that a Hubby who cooks it. Praying for your father and your family.
June, that is awesome that you got that many steps. An planning and plotting to make it so.
Naomi, praying for you. I think when hit with a diagnosis like that, take time to pitch your pity party. Then, take a deep breath and go forth learning all you can about the situation and what they want to do. ASK questions, get Trigger involved, and get a second opinion if you don't feel good about this one. Glad you feel better today.
Sounds like a good plan, Susi.
How - plan, track, drink water and stay AWARE.
For the week, down .5#'s.
Hope AWF have a great day!

I sure hope there is something that can be done for you that wont be too invasive. Hugs and prayers for you. Keep us posted. Ann, that's ok as long as you enjoyed it. You know what to do to get back on track and that is the main thing! Bee, good girl on the .5! I was also down a bit this morning and I sure needed to see that after not moving last week. Hi girls. I too shall be watching the inauguration. I had a pleasant surprise when I stepped on my trusty wii this morning....only up .2 which was FAB in my books. I won't try to repeat THAT process again LOL, but it was a great evening. I agree, friends 'happen' and it's been a long time since I let my hair down and just relaxed.
Susi I absolutely LOVE that saying and have been using it a LOT! You workout makes my body ache. You GO GF. Sounds very intense!
Naomi I missed the celebration last night. Glad you enjoyed!
Bee wise woman. I never talk 'politics' as I have very strong views and never want to offend. I stepped off that soap box long ago. Same deal with religion. I'm with you on what happened to health care. So many in the medical profession just don't seem to care which is pitiful. The 'good ones' do make up for it, though. I'm happy that this time around I have three 'keepers' in my corner that I feel have my back! Great job on your .5 weight loss. You also have KOKO down pat!
LaDonna hope you have a great day as well. Wow I just now noticed your 90# weight loss. That must 'feel' GREAT! KOKO.
Time for me to round up some breakfast. I wasn't hungry (a first for me) when I got up and just had my lemon water and coffee. I think my tummy is awake now!
Ciao

WTG Bee! Good job! You too LaDonna. MJ – Sending prayers. Hopefully this is a temporary hiccup and something else will be there. I now have lunch tracked. Local Urban Kitchen is a small, all organic foods restaurant using locally sourced products, including the fixtures and furniture.
