MJ, so sorry to hear of your son. Naomi, despite the anticipation of an ordeal I am so glad they detected the infection....prayers for you.
Hooray June on all those steps!
A busy day today. The kids are off from school and went late to day care; I'm about 2/3 done writing my talk. Then there's plenty of work to do even though my school is closed so I don't have to teach. Tracked the usual breakfast; feeling good about the number of WPs left over for Friday night dinner (brownie!) and Saturday.
A good Friday to all.

Susi-- wonderful that your planned indulgence features food/beverage that are worth each and every SP. we had prime rib for DH's birthday today. Enjoyed every bite of the meal & stayed OP. Ha ha ha... I just had a thought-- you pretrack & preburn calories. Thanks! I do feel more like me. Audrey-- luckily you like a variety of tea and have all those wonderful lemons. Love that you are focusing on what you are gaining from the switch and are giving your body time to adjust. Maybe the first day is the worst and today will be better? Sure hope so. Naomi- ohhhhh, I cannot even begin to imagine how you are feeling. Am so sorry. Sending you heartfelt prayers and a hug. Knowing what you experienced before, why wouldn't you be upset? You had every reason to be. Am praying that the infection can be halted as soon as possible. Is there any chance that you could get on a waiting list for a cancellation at the ENT's office? Please let me know if I can help. Ann-- so nice that you could let your hair down and take pleasure in the visit. You may not have been able to do that for awhile. A few nibbles, a little wine, along w/ a nice visit are just what the doctor ordered. I'm piggyback on all of you today ... June awe Thank you , I feel better today , like my Son Leonard said Mum this is 2017 so much in the medical field is so much advance. So I will see what all they can do maybe go in somewhere and correct it ....without that Awful surgery I had. Hehe. I'm getting to be a Sissy LaLa in my old age

I had to take notes as I watch tv and can't scroll back two comments as I do on my desktop . The rain was very heavy last night in this morning so I haven't walked yet. DH Took the dog out when there was a small break between showers. He is at his work office so I can do a few things to his home office. It is a mess he does not notice. Susi, great start to your day . Enjoy dinner tonight . Naomi, I am so glad you now have a diagnosis for your pain and I hope it will be gone as soon as possible . June's idea of getting on a list for cancellations is excellent . Ann, we always think we do worse than we actually do . .2 gain in exchange for an enjoyable evening with friends is not bad at all . Be how do you put the fresh ginger in your tea is a graded or sliced or diced . I bought ginger yesterday. MJ I am so sorry for your son and hope he finds new employment soon. LaDonna and Bee, congratulations on your losses. Tammary, it sounds like you will have a good busy day. Good job on saving the WPs for something you really want. June, huge congratulations on your 10,000 steps. I haven't been there in a while. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Ann, you know you can vent here. I think we all have soem 'Negative Nellies' in our lives. Great attitude on the acts during a friend's visit. KOKO is something you are really good at, Lady! Oh, Audrey, so sorry for the loss of your dear friend's Hubby. Do not get me started on what the medical profession has become in our time. Praying for her family and yours. WOW! That's a weight loss! I wish I had learned to meal plan for a week --- but I never did. Yes, there is so much more in life to talk about that politics. I do hot water with lemon and fresh ginger. Enjoy your day. Tam, what a treat --- popovers and spinach frittata --- and beyond that a Hubby who cooks it. Praying for your father and your family. June, that is awesome that you got that many steps. An planning and plotting to make it so. Naomi, praying for you. I think when hit with a diagnosis like that, take time to pitch your pity party. Then, take a deep breath and go forth learning all you can about the situation and what they want to do. ASK questions, get Trigger involved, and get a second opinion if you don't feel good about this one. Glad you feel better today. Sounds like a good plan, Susi. How - plan, track, drink water and stay AWARE. For the week, down .5#'s. Hope AWF have a great day! Bee I have taken that Deep Breath and now I know I have my family and friends behind me and yes Trigger is always supported and a loving husband. There is so many people that is in bad shape, sorry for my wining....

Parents can't help but be parents and worry. PLease lean on us & if you need to say what you can't say to others, express it here & we will listen.

Ann- always a good idea to wait to eat until you are hungry. Hope that you had a satisfying breakfast. Yep, it's a good idea not to discuss religion, politics, and child rearing.
Susi- that restaurant sounds like a lil gem. I would love the vibe and most likely enjoy what I ordered. Bet you have something something!

TAmmary-- ha ha ha... of course, you are doing school work on your day off, you are a teacher! Bet that your talk Saturday will be interesting. OM. GOodness... great minds must think alike...I was thinking that I should plan for a brownie soon. Years ago WW product line carried a mint frosted brownie. Was good, but I had a hard time eating just one. Still do w/ brownies. So I will likely buy one brownie to share w/ DH and cut it w/ painstaking precision into halves!
Naomi- so much has changed in the medical fields since your last procedures. Thta said, having identified the cause, the treatment of antibiotics will likely become more specialized & thus more effective. Luckily, you also live close enough to Pittsburgh that you have access to specialists associated w/ teaching hospitals & cutting edge treatments. Sending you lots of positive energy & healing prayers.
Pam- you will feel like a new woman after the beauty salon trip! You deserve a little pick-me- up!

Hmmm... DH is off early for dr. Appt & birthday. He just ran an errand. Am headed downstairs or my recumbent bike. Was able to ride it w/o any streets of pain on my feet. Will add in a little more time in 5 minute increments until he returns.
See ya later, alligators!
