Today's the day, Debbie! I'm so excited for you guys as you begin the new adventure!
If you haven't tried C25K before, I think you'll like it, Brenda. We'll get you 5K ready and, before you know it, you'll be running Boston. My knees have still not recovered from last year's running season, so I won't be trying to go long this year.
There seems to be a conspiracy to keep you from exercising, Virginia. The trainer bails and then an appointment interferes with yoga... The signs are everywhere!
Met my predecessor last night for a beer. He's got some issues that he should really work through with a qualified therapist. I got what I needed though.

Good morning
Lou, thanks for the start. Lou, I have done the c25k before. I really like it and day one is on the books ;-) When I first started running I did a similar plan that I found in a WW magazine. After the 5 minute warm up I did the first 1 minute run. I thought OMG I can't do this. I stuck with the program and at the end of the 12th week I was running an hour on the TM :-)
Debbie, safe travels today!
Virginia, I did a lot of indoor WATP this past winter due to the freezing temps. Too funny regarding your DSis dogs.
Waving to Vicki and Lori
I have my plan in place for the C25K. Yesterday was day 1/week 1. I am meeting a friend for dinner tonight. I hope the weather stays good.

Hi,
Thanks for starting us, Lou. In spite of the fact that the stars are not aligned for me to get my workouts in this week, I've hung in there, though. Interesting about your predecessor, though. I'm glad that you got the info you needed. I hope there are no more "surprises" lurking.
Hi, Brenda. Yep, WATP has been my friend so many times. Kinda like the USPS, only better since it is 24/7. I also hope that your weather stays good. Enjoy dinner with your friend. I remember that you have done C25K previously. Yes, DSis' dogs are so different. They are both great dogs.
Bon voyage to Debbie and Ted. I hope that travels are smooth with no delays.
Today is Essentrics at midday and PT texted me to reschedule for this evening, so FPs are good for today. It is super windy here again today but no wind advisory like yesterday. There were some snow flurries on my drive to the office but it was warm enough to only stick on grassy areas. Full meeting schedule today. It's been a challenging week in many ways, personally and professionally.
Waving hi to Vicki and Lori, hope you are both doing well.
Later, Ginia

Hi, Louis - thanks for the start. I am glad you didn't have to spend a night in jail. Brenda - what is C25k? I will never run again. You are doing great. Virginia - sorry your fun plans are being messed with.
We made it to Boston with no delay. The weather had us really worried. We saved around $3200 booking Denver - Boston on United then Boston to Valencia instead of just taking what Travelocity's and kayak offered. If we didn't make it to Boston on time thousands would have been lost. My next post will be from Valencia. Debbie
