Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.x
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning all,
Brrr! Cold morning today. We'll be in the deep freeze for a couple of days, then it warms up again, at least in the 40s on Saturday.
I started learning my new task yesterday. Pretty easy stuff, for the most part. At least I won't be bored after the service area closes.
Will have a short morning, heading to work at 11:30 instead of 1:30. Will be able to work on new task, and catch up from yesterday too. And I will be working like that all next week to get my 3-day weekend. I have to make sure I work at least 35 hours each week in order to get my health insurance benefits.
Ruth - are you getting any kind of warmup in your area this weekend, or staying cold?
Dottie - glad you enjoyed time with your friends.
Prayers for all in need.
Enjoy your day.

Good afternoon all. Joy, no warm up! Sunday morning it's go be -21 (actual temperature, not wind chill!). And Friday after noon into Saturday morning we are to get 10" of snow! Neither are good because we are to head to older DD's house (3 hrs on good roads) to celebrate Christmas and attend her Master's degree graduation/celebration on Sunday morning. They are recommending no travel, but DH thinks we might go. Makes me nervous!!
Off to run a few errands before today's snow starts. More later.

Joyce, sounds like a good balance, learning new items and not being bored at work. You are the type that wants/needs to be busy. Hope the extra hours aren’t too hard on you but you will have a 3 day weekend to look forward to. Brrr on the cold, it’s cold here also.
Ruth, hope you have safe travels on Saturday. I hate travelling in the snow, DH is a safe driver but can’t say the same for many people on the roads during a snow storm. Try to let us know how the travels go.
This morning we went to see the lawyer to update our wills and other documents. The ones we have are very old so it was definitely time. Then we went to the church gathering and had a nice time seeing quite a few people we know. Tonight I decided to go to the library for a teen tech night. The audio/visual club at the high school comes to the library and helps people with any of their devices. I’m doing pretty good on the iPad but have a few questions so I’m sure they can help. Don’t want to head out again in the cold but they only do this once a month and we will be gone in Jan. We had a snow squall come thru this morning and dropped a quick half inch of snow and the temps dropped and the winds picked up. Tonight thru Saturday evening it is supposed to be bitter cold, more snow and lots of wind and then the temps start rising and on Sunday in the high 40s and rain, better than snow.

Dinner out with good friends. Boy is it cold, -1 on our way home.
Dottie, I've had 4 iPads, so if you have questions, I might be able to help. Just ask away.
Will post from DD's if we are able to go. DH is very good in the winter too, but like you said, you have to watch out for those who aren't!!
Joy, I'm with you, I hate not having enough to do and trying to look busy! When I first worked at the high school, I'd go ask the other secretaries for things to do rather than just sit there doing nothing.
