Good Morning,
SOrry for the dental mumbo jumbo going on. Hope things improve and calm down for you. Good work addressin things as they occur.
I am doing like you with the cupboards and such in laundry room. They are suffering from this and there is spill over onto tops of machines and the laundry room sink counters. As the space is already tight from added shoe racks, cate care items, feeding area it would be helpful to not have carp mounded on machines and countertops such as tools, DH hobby supplies, WWII helmet (truth), cleaning stuff craft items, miscellaneous vases. Speaking of this, the laundry room will be the focus for today.
ORganization: -Purchased 6 small stacking bins from Amazon with angled open ends to put in laundry room cupboards for battery storage. There is constant mess, tossing about, when searching for batteries. I tore the excess cardboard from the tops so they fit and labeled the containers on the front. -found bottle of hand soap in the back of one laundry cupboard, up high, thought we were out. -moved the laundry spot removers down to the shelf where all the laundry stuff is. -have unloaded the light bulbs to a box in order to figure how to contain.
Laundry Room ToDos: -light bulb containment/organization -unload some DH stuff he's stuffed on the top shelf of one cupboard, decide if it really goes there -finish organizing cleaning/laundry supplies on cupboard shelves -clear counter tops/machine tops -sweep -see if I can replace dryer where I want it now that doesn't want to hide back there anymore.
The crafting is a still life flower arrangement, on a table, in front of wood 4 paned window. It's a cartoonish, but it's been fun doing and "arranging the flowers", just been doing whatever not conserned with reality. THe issue I will have is deciding whether to leave the rustic white wash wood as the back ground or do blue sky, leaning toward leaving. will be easier to tell once done with all the flowers/leaves.
15K steps yesterday. Had stress, kids, editing, began to stress eat, stopped before was out of hand!
more later...hope your day is off to a good start.

Success! All items on laundry room ToDo's are done including more!
additional TaDas" -dusted high wall/ceiling cobwebs -dusted pictures -emptied and comet cleansered the big sink -moved some items out to garage that should/be stored out there ultimately -refilled the household hand soaps with the hand soap I found in the laundry cupboard -threw some too small, "Furniture Feet" boxes to the donate as they don't fit anything, why keep? -emptied two other "Furntiure Feet boxes and put them on the feet of kitchen chairs (all this stuff was in laundry room cupboards, this cleared several small boxes of stuff. -reboxed some loose lightbulbs -organized the light bulbs, consolidated, reboxed some (why were they out of the box?_ as well as all items in the two upper laundry room cabinets. -wiped down machine tops, counter top and a layer of dust off back surface ridge of one machine -labeled the cat dish cleaning thing as not have anyone use it for anything else, it sets in a little dish by the sink in there. -found a container under that sink I could consolidate kitty wipes, pads for the carrier, catnip to. -Put the cat food under the sink as well -put tools back in tool drawer in there. -made a small "I dont' know box" and put DH's carp in it and set it out on his tool bench -moved the kitty litter supply out to the garage, it needs to be stored out there, no room in laundry room -washed the kitty feeding mat so does not look disgusting.
So this was a lot, the laundry room looks fantastic. I did chuck some stuff in the garage but ultimately it needs to be stored out there. I will be looking at the front end of the garage before DH gets back as well, so it will be addressed. Out of everything I think I'm most excited about the clear boxes I got to store the batteries in. Those are always ending up all over the place, it looks tidy, you know what's there. ALso getting the cat stuff under control and under the sink area and out into garage.
Crafting: Finished the picture. Hobby Lobby sells these light weight rustic framed pieces, the background is already whitwashed rustically. The outer frame is a darker wood. So I used darker wood grain paper to make the inside of the window pane dividers. The jug sets on charcoal colored paper with floral design, and I just left the background the way it originally was, I like that rustic white wash look. I would actually like to do a big crow maybe with that paper at a later time.
Oh I walked as well today with a friend. I need to attend an evening Dance Mom thing and must go get ready for that.
Hope your day was good!

I just love that mosaic! It's just so fresh looking. Fantastic!!! job in the laundry room. And great job on the steps. 15,000 is a lot!
Just another day in Paradise for me. Took Clair to doggie day care for the first time today. Must not leave both those puppies alone together anymore. She was dressed in her St. Pat's outfit which is beyond cute. I even found a girl's green and white etc. hair bow at Walmart that fit perfectly on her green harness that matches her green leash that goes oh so cutely with her St. Pats clover dog collar. She just looks so cute, that solid shiny black coat and all that green stuff. She'll wear that to class on Saturday also.
Went to work and got my assistant organized again and picked up more work to do on Friday and Monday at home. It is snowing outside right now and I am very happy I won't have to drive in it tomorrow morning.
I was in the best mood tonight but DH did not seem to be on the same wave length. Sort of like we were speaking two different languages or maybe on two separate TV screens in two different shows. Maybe I will secretly dump several large tablespoons of emotional elegance over his oatmeal tomorrow to help with what appears to be a severe case of "tax seasonitis" LOL.
I can't get over how darling that mosaic is!!!
Hope you had a great night!
