Happy Saturday, Lori - Another offer! I wouldn't be able to lave a 5 minute commute but how flattering. Vicki - your retirement is so close, do you have any plans? Virginia - your weather doesn't sound normal for this time of year. I hope you can get some miles this weekend. That is nice that DSIL and DN could get away. Louis - any shopping trips weekend.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! The will be the procession of locals in traditional dress carrying bouquets to offer to the patron saint , the virgin. It should be very special. Then we will go to the Irish pub for a pint of Guinness. Debbie

Good morning
Debbie, thanks for the start. Sounds like a very active place you are in. Have fun today (loved the pictures on FB).
Virginia, I think it is good to check out other meetings. That's great DSis and DN got out of town for a few days.
Lori, wow what a find! Good thing you found it before you donated the hat. I packed up my parents stuff and found a very old picture of my mom and grandmother in a paper bag with curlers (too bad is wasn't $$). But after that I felt I had to look in everything. I really do need to do a Will and get things in order for my DSon. Hugs to you and your mom.
Lou, are you drinking green beer today?
Vicki, how are you doing?
Might get a frozen mix later today. Have I already said I'm ready for Spring?!

Hi, Thanks for starting us, Debbie. Our weather can go just about any way at this time of year. I hope we are finally done with the really cold stuff, but we have had snow in April, so we shall see. It is cloudy, dreary and misty here now. Tomorrow should be a nice, sunny day. Enjoy your St. Patrick's Day! Hi, Brenda. Yes, I am considering that other meeting. I would have to get up and out early for sure, because its WI starts at 6:30. I also would not be able to stay for the entire meeting most weeks because my Wednesday work meetings often start at 8. I really prefer a morning meeting, so my choices are limited. Thanks, DSis and DNiece enjoyed their quick trip. The picture you found in the bag of curlers is a treasure. I am past ready for spring. Hi, Lori. Wow, what a find with $6K! We didn't find many surprises when we cleaned out DPops' place, although we did get one several months after his passing. He told me several years ago about an annuity that he had through his employer. He named me as beneficiary and told me that I was to share equally with my siblings. I vaguely remembered it later, but I never found any paperwork on it. I was contacted by the company about it 6 - 9 months after his death. I provided my siblings' contact info and alerted them. We each received our 1/3 share of $4K a few weeks later. I rolled mine into my retirement plan. It was a nice surprise for sure. You have an offer to work 5 minutes from home? Oh, that would be SO tempting! Thank you, I am working on that R&R thing and I texted DDIL about doing FaceTime this weekend. We are past due. I intended to do it last weekend but didn't ask since all of the girls were fighting the flu. Waving hi to Lou and Vicki. Happy weekend and happy St. Patrick's Day to you both! Today was a nice day with no alarm clock. I did 5+ miles of WATP with resistance band DVD, so FP status is green. Otherwise, I plan to stay home except for our usual dinner date. DH had to work today, so this is going to be a good time to get the floors mopped. My outdoor HM training will happen tomorrow. I hope my BWF (best walking friend) will be able to meet me, otherwise I'll map a route from home and get it done. Happy Saturday, Ginia

Good morning, Happy Sunday! Virginia- happy HM training. You are so wise is place the money into retirement funds. Brenda - is the frozen mix outside? Spring is just around the corner.
Yesterday was crazy! There was Fallas, St. Patrick's Day and a soccer match going on. I do not think all three will occur on the same day again. We walked so much yesterday. We wanted to see how crazy our maybe new neighborhood was and even though it is close to the stadium it was nice and quiet. I am getting very good at sleeping through the sounds of fireworks. I think the procession of flower offering last most of the night. I can't wait to see the Virgin all completed in flowers. So today will be another big walking day. Debbie

Hello,
Thanks for the Sunday start, Debbie. There IS a lot going on in Valencia right now. It's a good thing that you are not a light sleeper. That was a smart move to check out the potential new neighborhood when all these activities are going on.
Today started with a 10 mile walk. It was not as nice out as we anticipated but definitely better than yesterday. We started at the opposite end of the greenway and did not encounter any area that was still flooded. We were in awe of the high water marks in some areas. A good, steady rain will help clean up some of the areas of the trail where dirt remains from the flooding. Our internet service was down from yesterday evening until about 90 minutes ago. I am glad it is back up and available.
Waving hi to Brenda, Lou, Vicki and Lori. I hope you all are doing well.
Off to finish laundry and get prepared for the work week ahead!
Take care, Ginia
