Winter is here!! We have 58 days till Spring March 20 ,2017. This is time enough to start to develop new goals and approaches for goals with exercise and healthy eating. Whether gym at home or outside we can exercise and see the benefits by Spring. Tracking our healthy eating helps us lose weight.
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you Can set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs from January 1 to March 20

Challenges this week: Sun -go the extra mile! Mon -OP day Tues -work those arms! Wed -journal it Thurs -at least 6 servings water Fri -at least 5 servings fruits&veggies Sat -work those abs

Amy and Debbie so proud of you both for joining the March!! Wish I could have. With my cold and still having stitches in my chest didn't try. Did either of you make signs?
I will walk on the TM today.

Congrats Deb. Did I leave out your new loss,my goal was to be below 120 now to be under 195 is my goal. I just hope my treadmill is not a problem. I am so excited. Wont have to pay warranty yearly for a while. I tried to get the smallest nordiktrack for the apartment. I noticed it has arms to use which I never had before. I think I will be able to have it serviced once a year. I am getting a fruit plate for Adam and I TO WATCH THE PCKER ATLANTA game later. So other do not eat it I am putting it into 2 lock n clock for /adam and I. They get pizza and someone brings soda and someone brings Piza and someone is baking cakes.

I got the fruit for Adam and I and the leftovers for others,This way do not need cakes or pizza.

Amy, what an amazing and awesome crowd for your march! Woohooooooo!! We only had about 2000 but for ultra-conservative Syracue, that was a great turnout!
Amy, WTG on getting a new TM! I hope you love it! A fruit plate sounds awesome for the game tonight!
Brenda, good to hear from you! Congrats on your weight loss, a small loss is still not a gain! Have a good walk today on your TM. I hope your stitches heal soon and you get rid of that cold!
I made it to the gym this morning for spinning class and the arm weight machines. I had new running shoes set aside for when I can walk/run again but my foot has been so achy it occurred to me that maybe I needed new shoes. Well, I'm wearing the new shoes and jeesh! what a knucklehead I am! No achy arch and ankle! If I'd been running regularly I would have realized the signs and gotten rid of the old sneakers at least a month! Even though I wasn't running much and had stopped walking for exercise, I was still putting mileage on the shoes! So this morning I also ordered to more pairs of running shoes (on sale) so I can replace my shoes more often.
