Right now it is sunny, but it is the calm before the storm. We are suppose to have tornado watches this afternoon. Hoping that it holds off till i get home from church! I was thinking of having a turkey breast for dinner, but may get some hot dog buns and have hot dogs while watching the football games!

2 threads...so is it Saucy or Simply today? LOL It's rather grey here and not very saucy either! Expecting a really nasty nor'easter tonight. With 65 mph winds and rain not sure I'll make it out to the gym in the morning. Today is a lot of in-house stuff and later Patriot's football! Now if I can only control the munchies!!

Good morning.... sullicat1 I hope you're feeling better today; I hate that your breathing is uncomfortable. I have missed some of the iPad conversation, but have you talked to Apple?? Maybe you need to reinstall your software. dina I didn't realize you were from RI; I was definitely surprised you were a Patriots fan, so that explains it! When I saw Brady, I asked him who he was going to root for (he is still employed by the Post-Gazette in PGH, but is a TB fan from Michigan.) He said he guessed he'd pull for Pittsburgh, but it would kill him if they went to the Super Bowl that he wouldn't cover it. However, we both agreed TB would take care of that dilemma for him! I took the morning off, Bedside Baptist it was called in the south, just too many up and at em's and I've still got a couple of busy weeks before I need to find a pattern for my new life. My knee came through week 2 just fine, so I think I've lost my lazy excuse and need to get some exercise today. Have a good one!

Beautiful sunny day here in Houston. We had more rain yesterday but it looks like the sun will be shining all day. Yea for Vitamin D! I've returned from my 2 mile walk. Laundry and football are on the agenda today.
May start to tackle the paper work to organize for taxes. Yippee! LOL!!

After very active day yesterday, enjoying a quiet, reflective morning. Headed to church shortly and then to spend day with dh. Football will definitely be on the agenda. Continuing focused and moving forward. Have a great day everyone.

Third day of rain here. I was just thinking about making some tomato sauce. Don't think that was the intent with Saucy Sunday but I will make it saucy in the kitchen today.
Laundry, Sunday paper, and a lot of downtime for me today. I will try to get a walk in as I have been so busy that I was totally off my walking schedule for most of the week.
Still feeling party food puff but I am slowly deflating. I am drinking my usual buckets of water but you can't speed that up.
Great Saucy Sunday to All!

Dina, I don't know where these crazy commas come from. I'm not putting them there, lol. Most fairies sprinkle fairy dust but there’s one little rogue fairy that sprinkles commas. It lives in your device!
thyme2 I’m LOL at “party food puff.” Sounds like a medical disease classification and a new acronym—PFP. I’ll have to remember to use that in my meeting.
It is still too dark here to see what the weather is, but I know there is or has been rain because some of it is dripping into the fireplace.
Today will likely be quiet. I have little interest in going out in the rain, and I’m somewhat worn out from yesterday’s booksale activities.
I’m about to have steel cut oatmeal that I made in the InstantPot last night. I posted about it in the Recipe forum. It is actually made as individual servings in heatproof coffee mugs, worked well, and clean-up of the IP was a simple rinse and dry for the pot and the rack. To quote Ina Garten, “How simple was THAT!"
linda72, I’ve organized and entered what little information I’ve received into TurboTax already. But most of the bank and brokerage information doesn’t show up until some time in February—they have until 2/28 by law. And even then my brokerage often issues a corrected statement as late as the middle or end of March. I usually have things ready to go but don’t file until close to the deadline. Best case is I owe them nothing; worst case is I owe them something—and they can wait for it!
