I love cheese. But just can not tolerate any Low Fat or Fat Free dairy products. Even cottage cheese, sour cream, etc.
I just tried Cabot Sharp Cheddar 50% lite. It was pretty good. I think I can make this one a regular choice
Any other recommendations?
Thanks so much.

I like the Sargento Ultra Thin Sliced Cheese. They are full fat cheese, but sliced very thin. Each slice is 40-45 calories.

I like the Velveeta cheese slices that are 40 calories and 1 SP each. I eat grits almost every morning during the week and I melt a slice of this in my grits and it is so good. Also, love it on a grilled cheese sandwich

smaller amounts of real cheese. i find it hard to eat light cheese because i'm never satisfied, so i end up eating more of it and taking in more calories than if i'd just gone ahead and had a little of the real deal.

Check out the Lifetime brand of low fat and fat free. The mild Mexican, jalapeno jack, regular jack are particularly good. Sargento 2% swiss is also very good. And thank you Fin for introducing me to halloumi. Definitely worth a portion.

I don't care for most low fat and cannot tolerate FF.
I get sliced Jarlsberg from Costco. It is one point per slice. It comes in a huge pack but I divide it into small piles and put them in freezer bags and freeze. It stays great and I pop it out as needed. Good for sandwiches, omlettes etc.

I'm a HUGE fan of the Sargento reduced fat cheeses... especially the pepperjack cheese. It's my favorite and I'd choose it even if I were not on WW.

Like vicki I also like the Baby Bel lite. They are the little round wax and plastic wrapped cheeses in the netting bag. I also think the 50% light cheddar cheeses are pretty good. Unlike you hpetterson I do like fat free cottage cheese, but only Breakstone's brand. For a treat (not completely diet but not evil either) I make cottage cheese pancakes with the Breakstone's fat free cottage cheese. They're delicious. I've made them with regular fat cottage cheese and they haven't tasted any better than the ff cottage cheese. The only cottage cheese that doesn't work with cottage cheese pancakes (for some reason) is Lactaid cottage cheese.

I like weight watchers low fat string cheese. It's the only WW product I eat.

I want to be able to recognize the ingredient list, so won't eat FF cheese, but as time passed, I totally adjusted to RF...I can remember thinking that Jarlsberg Lite was a poor substitution years ago, but recently got full fat Jarlsberg and thought it was too rich, LOL, so our tastes can change. I also like Cabot 50% and I can find it easier these days.

A wedge of Laughing Cow really goes a long way with a few Triscuit thins. You can even make an Alfredo sauce with. Haven't made it in years.
