Good morning.
No fog, but cloudy and I guess the clouds will stick around, till we get snow on Wed.
So bummed about the playing of the Packers. But too, happy about how they came from 4-6 to where they ended up, and beating the Giants and the Cowboys...that was darned good. Happy that the Falcons are the team going to the Super Bowl, instead of a team like the Seachickens, or South Carolina. Atlanta deserves it.
I was so unhappy at the beginning of 2nd quarter, I went for a walk. Got a 3 mile walk in, thanks to the Pack, lol!
Phyl, hope you are not too sad about the game.
Marlene, not sure what you are talking about, but I hope it works out for you!
Have to figure out when we are going to the Y, since today is the day for Ruby's pantry, and I want to go to that. Ruby's pantry (if you have not heard of it) is put on at a church, where a distribution company comes with food that has to be gotten rid of, there is so much food, and all you do is pay $20.00. You bring a laundry basket and maybe 1 nice size box, and go thru the line of tables in the gym of the
church school gym, and the workers put the food in your containers, then take the containers, and guard them while you get your vehicle, and meet them at the big back door..they load it into your vehicle. For $20. you get so much food! Some of it you have to watch tho, since the expiration date is close..some things you really don't care for, but there are things like big bags of potatoes, lots of vegies, some meat, and so on. They open their doors at 4, for registration and payment, then they start giving out the food at 4:30. We have gone twice now, and am happy with what we get for that little amount of money. It is a people watcher for us also, you see all kinds of people there.
Anyway, I have to figure out our time at the Y, so we can go right over there and get in line early, so we can get a low number, to go thru quickly, then go home.
There are 2 Ruby's Pantry in Green Bay (one does it 1 monday of the month, the other does it the next monday of the month), one on the east side of GB, and the one we are going to on the west side. We do not go the the east side one.
Ok, enough chit chatting....someone drank my coffee!! Lol, time for a refill...have a good day!
