Good morning to all! Here we are, it's Monday again. We are supposed to have a deluge and high winds this afternoon and evening, a real nor'easter. Part of me wishes it was going to be snow instead of rain, then I could stay in rather than driving in the pouring down, pitch black rain. I have a wake to attend later too, right when the storm is scheduled to be in full bloom. What a mess! But, I need to be there to support my nephew's wife. I will dry off fine, but her heart is broken over the loss of her mother.
Daily Affirmation - Storms come, storms pass and the sun shines.
Fitness Report - a lovely hour of Kundalini yoga with Ravi and Ana.
Health Goal - water, Meatless Monday and a safe commute.
Gratitude - having a job to go to on Monday.

Good morning!
Pat, hugs to your nephews wife. I'm sure she will welcome your support.
All this talk of dance! I love it! I think I'll do some dance for cardio today. I'm inspired! We have our dance class tonight also. Luckily, we did practice and I think we'll learn the remainder tonight, lots of turns!
Soup! I will be with you all on the soup wars. I'm making 3 different soups today. Gotta clean out the fridge veggie crispers.
Saturday was so spectacular, high 50's! I was able to work outside for most of the day, turning compost, yard clean up, raking, shredding ornamental grasses and tons of pine cones. I was only wearing a sweatshirt and SWEATING!!!! So strange! Then we took a long walk, stopped at a friends and sat outside to have a cocktail. Just had to do it.
affirmation - I am focused on regrouping for the month health goal - prepare soups and salads fitness goal - dance and bowflex gratitude - nothing pressing today. Might have time for a mani/pedi! It's warm enough to sit out in the hot tub to soak my feet first, yay!

Lisa it was so warm by us that I reverted back to my spring/early fall leather jacket and didn't even zip it. I was sweating while working in the kitchen last night - so bizarre.
Oh, I almost forgot - GO PATS!!!!!

Cooking for the week DONE! Chx Stew for DH, Yellow Lentil Soup, Spicy Thai Sweet Potato Curry Soup, and Creamy Chicken Soup for our old buddy Russ who is housebound all alone at 84 for 3 mo. We've been trying to visit and feed him. So sad to see ppl get old and forgotten.
Now to get in a good w/o!

Good Evening, Dear Ones!
Yay for good neighbors, who bring each other soup and kindness:)
And we've had some goofy weather around here, too.45- 50 yesterday, sweating at the end of my brisk walk. Today 40 and the wind was chilly, I had to pull up my hood and wear heavier gloves. I think the rest of the week we are alternately getting rain & snow. I think the birds are confused by the warm weather we've had. I saw robins....they should not be here this time of year!
Daily Affirmation: I am focused and centered
Fitness report: fitness class & Expresso bike 3.9 mi; walked 2.5 mi
Health Goal: at least 6 hrs sleep
Gratitude: for being able to appreciate my environment
