Almost out the door to take Sam to class and then to the office to get some work done there that can't be done at home. Yesterday the three instructors at Clair's class complimented me on how great she is. She should be after all those dog obedience classes she has been in! LOL
BTW, one of them called her a Diva and the students call her Designer Dog since she is always dressed up in her finest harnesses, collars (which are unbelievable beaded, flowers etc) and matching leashes. Nobody gets it (yet). One of the instructors has been after me to turn her into a therapy dog because she absolutely loves people. The instructor gets that making her look that attractive makes people much more interested in paying attention to her. That's the goal to get her to be 100% in the behavior department when she meets and greets. We go to HD to practice her social skills and because she looks so cute she is much more approachable. I had a perfectly (and I mean perfectly) trained Collie years ago. We started in therapy but I stopped when I realized she had no interest whatsoever in people. So I am working on this which at the best will take at least another year. In the meantime I am having fun with this hobby!
Spring has arrived in between bouts of winter.
Hope you are having fun!!!!

Hello!
It is so good to hear how well things are going with the dogs, especially Clair. I have a friend who's high school daughter would keep puppies in training up to a certain point for service dogs for kids with Autism. You are really good with the dogs though and keeping on the training. My friends I just came from have a dog, which is not that "new" they've had from a puppy and I don't think the DH, who's responsible for the dog, has done any training, obedience or otherwise. This is a shame, because I think if the dog were better behaved the wife would probably be more tolerating of the dog, but she HATES that poor dog, and I feel a little sorry for the dog.
Anyway, the trip was good, my legs are EXTREMELY sore!!! I stopped at two antique stores on the drive back and picked up two items to work on, both for $32 , I asked them to drop the price one of them, I do believe they were asking too much. I'll tell you about those when I decide two work on them. I came home and taped off a Hobby Lobby piece and painted the inside of it black. THis is something I'm going to do a dot painting on as a picture and see if it's cute when it's done. I'm heading up to my room with my clipboard and paper to play with designs now. I think I will enjoy doing this. I'm just not sure because this type of painting looks better on wood objects. But as the Hobby Lobby piece is all wood, it might end up looking cute, we'll see.
I got home, unloaded car, grocery shopped (small) made great dinner, it's all cleaned up and dishses done, DW loaded, handwash items done kitchen is clean.
Hope your day has been good.
