Good morning/afternoon positive ones! Just starting us out so at least I get myself in here to post. Jan, sounds like a tough financial month for you. I always hate the property tax payment is due the same week as taxes, what moron came up with that? Anyway, death and taxes right?? If we're not paying them, we're dead so take your pick LOL! My aunt's funeral is today in Wisconsin and it is a nightmare weather wise. Cousin decided it was her mom's doing because she didn't want any fuss, so maybe not so many people will be able to be there. She's probably up there smiling at this mess. Poor things.
Yes I CAN: Find the discipline I need to walk the straight and narrow path with my food choices and portions. I can't seem to pull myself out of this hole. I know I can do it, have done it in the past, but it just seems like I can't stop this upward climb these last 3-4 years. So depressing. BUT, positive talk, change my thinking, find the strength, I can do it. One meal at a time so they say.

Good Sunday morning peeps! Feeling better in control, focusing on water and food choices today, and of course tracking them!
Yes I CAN: -Get my steps in again today (just one day this week I was under) -Track track track -Plan a low point lunch...thinking tuna salad on romaine. Smoked ribs for dinner, so have to plan appropriately. Watch the carbs. -Just say no to the tempting bad stuff!

Nat - yay for putting one foot in front of the other and getting back on track
Well, we survived another ice storm❄️! It wasn't as bad as predicted, thank goodness. Not too many power outages, but some accidents this morning due to icy roads. I was glad I went to Mass yesterday so we stayed put today and let the ice melt away. It's all gone now, just a lot of plain old non-freezing rain.
Yes I did --get enough sleep --make 3 healthy meals at home --walk that treadmill
