Good Afternoon, started a post earlier but I then I had to leave and it must have expired.
I hope that Clair can pass what she needs to in order to advance to the next level in the Rally classes! Keep me posted. Your plan sounds like a good one! I lol'd a bit regarding your thoughts and the assistant feeling like a teen. So funny. I am like a manager, they are the workers, they need managing in different ways, more and less...lol.
Yesterday I did laundry reboot, took care of school and business items, tutor contacts and got good dinner cooked and managed the teens, and have been keeping kitchen clean.
Today, I met with the prospective tutor, she's gonna be good, hired her, this is a relief on several levels. I'm editing, there is a lot of teen management, mainly for DS going on right now.
Went and got DD's driver's permit today! Exciting!
Walked the 2.5 mile loop...it was actually over 6K steps..wonder if I was taking smaller steps cause my legs are sore.
Hope your day is going well.
Z,

What a lot of important things you got accomplished today! Congrats to DD!
Great day for me. My favorite nephew surprised us at work today. He lives in Michigan and is thinking of moving out here again. He lived at Lake Tahoe and worked at a ski resort many years ago and he seems to need a change as he ended a difficult love relationship of 6 years plus recently. Anyway we had so much fun talking!
The rest of the day was spent helping at the office as DH had requested I spend the day there to help him finish up the extensions etc--something I excel at, not missing people he might have overlooked on and on. I don't have anything at all to do with that department anymore and haven't for a number of years but I still am familiar with the clients etc.from when I was involved with it. Glad that I got through that.
I have 7,433 steps and I swear my fitbit gives me more steps than it should. These are also mini steps because any foot movement is counted while I am standing working. I don't miss the office at all. Probably because I can stop the unlimited flow of work coming at me all day long. Actually I get more done at home especially since I am not interrupted endlessly.
The puppies are playing zoom-zoom right now. Running through the house, pounding on each other. They sound like a herd of elephants. Just so cute!
Hope you are having a good night!
