This challenge was created six years ago by a few Weight Watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isn’t always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

Good Morning, positive e-pals!
Janet & Sally - be well in your travels...look forward to seeing you on here soon 🌸
Jan - hang in there, summer fruits and veggies are coming soon. Even our local farm stands will be opening for business soon...the dates are posted, so it feels imminent! (I will just ignore the snow we had yesterday, LOL)
Nat - as much as I love to focus on 'numbers', I agree, the real focus needs to be on making good choices from healthy foods. If we keep doing that, results follow.
I was re-reading some entries from last month and noted some items I'd like to work on some more: Choose activities that will lead to REDUCED STRESS in future. Also...PAUSE and REFLECT before acting (eating, talking, transitioning.)
Back later! Carol

Good morning and afternoon positive peeps! Carol, I know it's so hard not to focus on numbers, it's like in our DNA or something LOL. Today I'm focusing on healthy choices and lowering the carb intake. I also decided yesterday to try an intermittent fast (just the no food from 7pm to 11am). I felt so less bloated this morning (and down 2 lb of that bloat) and it felt good to be in control last night. This morning hasn't been too difficult. A few rumbles but drinking my lemon water and tea. I'll be ready for the tuna salad on romaine at 11!! I'm not feeling any cravings, just would love to bite into that salad soon Yes I CAN: Track well today, keep to healthy options, drink that water, and get those steps in Have a great day everyone! Nat

Happy Wednesday Afternoon Peeps! Just getting ready to go to Jazzercise. That always makes me happy. Better scale number this morning...could that high number been from Advil? Been taking a lot of that lately with my sore knee and stiff shoulder. Old age ain't for sissies!!! YES, I DID... --resist the urge to climb into a good book and veg out for comfort and stress relief. --make out a healthy grocery list for tomorrow. Chips and ice cream are gone. Whew. --did a good deed for my 88-year-old Aunt yesterday. Took her shopping and helped her pick up a patio umbrella. Packed both old ones in the car! Sloooooow shopping. HaHa. Nat and Carol: Wow your extra point items are the healthy ones. Wish I could just overeat on avocados and raw nuts. My problem is air-popped popcorn and bread. I don't just want a little portion either. What's a trigger for you ladies? Stress, of course, but is there a certain place, time, or food that triggers you? Sending blue dots....LOTS! Jan
