This challenge was created six years ago by a few Weight Watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isnβt always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

Good Afternoon, positive peeps! Happy Earth Day πWeekend!
About those goals...I probably cannot reach my happy target weight by May 1.... but I will give it my best shot. The key is to cut back on those flour-based extras (e.g. pancakes, pie, cornbread, and even mediocre cookies that other people put in front of me) that I seem to nibble on regularly...a little here, a little there...and that's usually when I tend to "forget" to track. OK, I am now committing to cut it out!
Yes I DID: --decide not to torture myself at the WW scale (having peeked at home & the Y several times this week)....but stayed for the WW meeting, good discussion --make oatmeal with fresh, organic strawberries, yum! (not from around here, LOL) for breakfast --buy good veggies, real ice cream for sweetie and some Halo Top ice cream for me
Yes I CAN: --get outside and enjoy the cool but sunny & clear, almost-Spring (?) weather --tackle a couple of procrastination tasks (already scrubbed & mopped kitchen floor, bleahhh!)
Dang! I left my Fitbit in the charger....gotta go get it....
Be well! Carol

Good afternoon positive peeps! And a Happy Earth Day to you too Carol! Good to see you back Sally, glad you had a great time and the scale doesn't know any better (knock on wood). Made some cauiflower english muffins (from EatingWell) this morning. I will make those again! Just cauliflower, egg and cheese in it. Finally got something cauliflower to turn out not flimsy LOL. I squeezed it dry!! DS polished off 3 so they must have been all right LOL! I had mine with avocado on it Mmmmm. So for today, I have leftover chicken/chili (0 pt) and I made some BBQ lentils to put over some baked sweet potato rounds (a recipe from my vegan cleanse). I have my day planned out for a blue dot day Yes I CAN: Keep to my planned meals, get my steps in, keep happy thoughts in my head, stay away from negative, and have a great day. Waves! Nat

Good Morning!! Happy Earth Day! love light blessings love light blessings
Carol with you on making different food choices, Nat baking with cauliflower? hmm, got my interest now.
Today will be day one OP as you can guess by my absence. Instead of focusing on what I did wrong, will focus on what I did right:
I have had a lot of have-to-be-there social functions involving food which is my downfall. I do okay most the time for planned meals at home.
Last week: did not damage control food/portion wise, desserts happened but kept up my workouts.
This week: a little damage control food portion wise, one gingerbread muffin instead of more stuff, no dessert Thursday, remembered to bring and eat fruit, last night no dessert and ordered pasta with veggies instead of my favorite eggplant parmigiana, and kept up workouts. I know just by avoiding eggplant p last night (which came with side spag) I saved about 15 points. I am still way over mind you.
WI Thursday. Given two weeks of bad eating will probably have to pay but between now and then: loads of tough workouts, and strict OP behavior! check in.
Oh dear I cannot remember acronym but I think the above fits it. love light and blessings j

Happy Earth Day positive peeps! Janet, hoping you can get your OP and exercise going this week to avoid paying! I decided to finish off the other half head of cauliflower and make it into a pizza this morning. I used half mozzarella and half cheddar this time to cut out 1 point per serving anyway! lol DH was home this time to be able to grab some. He likes anything cauliflower and this came out pretty good. I think I have the squeezing out the water down now. Really keeps it from being soggy/flimsy.
I feel my head is in a good place right now, as DH came home from the grocery store with a bag of tortilla chips and guacamole....oy vey. He gets in these moods on occasion and wants this stuff. He of course can take his serving of it and then not eat anymore chips for a week. If I get started on them, I can't stop. So just not touching them. They also came home with Duncan Hines mug cakes (didn't know they carried them in a box now). I can make those thing much healthier than their crazy ingredients list, but of course it wouldn't have the sweetness of those. Can't get it through anyone's head here that none of us need that stuff. What's a girl to do...find a 1 bedroom cabin in the woods alone LOL!! Okay never mind, I will just keep up the resistance.
Yes I CAN: -Keep my good steps going. -Aim for a blue dot day (3 out of 4 for my WW week) -Just say no to the junk. -Keep positive!
Waving! Nat

Happy Sunday Morning.
I have started the past 3 days with Bulletproof Tea. You know the coconut oil and grass-fed butter with hot teas or coffee? Wow, finally got rid of my brain fog and mid-morning hunger pains. I have decided to practice portion control and rethink some of my daily choices.
Yes, I AM... --doing well and staying the course. --enjoying a sunny warm S.D. weekend. --getting some garden exercise/therapy.
Glad we all made it here this weekend! Missed you Sally and Janet. Sally, I love Bryce Canyon! Happy Earth Day!
