This thread is for Lifetimers who worked previous WW programs to lose and maintain with much success. We are committed to making future WW programs work for us and are UNWILLING to gain back the weight we so diligently fought to lose. We are here to share ideas, strategies, hold each other accountable, and offer support.
All are welcome here.

Hi Everyone! Happy Thursday!
It has been a busy day, but a productive one. After yoga class I met DD at Starbucks and then we went to get our nails done. We both got pedis but I also got a French mani. After the nail salon DD headed to her appointment for haircut and I went and picked up a Christmas card for Mike. On my way home the traffic was horrendous! When I finally got about 4 miles from home I saw what the holdup was. There was a very bad rollover truck accident. Mike said there were accidents all over the city. Now I am home and plan to stay here.
It is a beautiful day, so will try to get a walk in later. Sending warm thoughts to all of you in the cold and snow. Stay warm and stay safe!
I don't know if I had mentioned this or not, but I am having a New Year New You Vision Board Yoga workshop on Jan. 1. I have 7 paid registrants that signed up for the Early Bird Discount. This is awesome! If no one else signs up it is still very much worth my time and effort. I still have to work on the content a little more. I have most of the supplies. Just need to get the poster board and am waiting to see how many I will need. I will get a few extra in case of accidents or last minute registrants.
Renee, Love your avatar! I have not been on the WW app. Still track everyday, but do it through My Fitness Pal. Might need to check out the WW app. They usually make changes in the plan this time of year. Do you know if the app was the only thing that changed or did they make some tweaks to the plan?
Shari, Glad you are enjoying your vacay and were able to check in. One of the reasons I am giving up the Shapes gig is because 3 of the new classes I teach are in the Fitness Center in our Golf Club Community, so just 1 mile down the road and I don't even need to get onto a major highway. That is huge now that most of the snowbirds are here.

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
Ruth ~ Thanks for getting us started this morning. Yay for mani and pedi!
Brrrr..... we had wind chill of -13 when I went to school. I had called our principal ahead of time to let her know 2 of my co-workers had called in plus I needed to leave early. She picked up my call with "No, we're not going outside" <LOL> that was the good news for the day. I also went to my dentist and so far all her news is good. I have a tooth giving me trouble but she opted to treat it and wait and see.
Renee ~ I also hadn't tried the "new" WW site, but did today and get *nothing* on my page. There is somewhere to click to "go back to previous version" and there I could track today's meals. Hmm......
I stopped and got a few things at the store on the way home as well as filling a Rx from my dentist, so I'm good to go for a while.
BBL. Make a great day!

Sue, I was curious about the WW app, so went to track my food today and mine was a little different than the last time but it did find some of my frequent foods. It has a little different look than it did before but nothing unusual, but that was on my iPhone. When I went to the computer it did look quite a bit different. It also said "welcome to a new and faster experience". Decided to check out Connect online and at first it would not load. You still cannot post to Connect from your computer. Wonder if that will ever REALLY happen? Stay WARM!

We had this for dinner tonight and it was delicious and quick & easy to make:
Rachel Ray's Lemon Rosemary Roasted Chicken Thighs with Potatoes
Ingredients
1/4 cup olive oil 2 lemons - 1 zested and juiced (about 1 1/2 tsp. zest, 4 tbsp. juice) and 1 thinly sliced 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 1/2 pounds red potatoes, cut into 1 inch cubes 1 1/2 pounds bone-in, skin-on (we used boneless, skinless and it was delish!) chicken thighs 4 sprigs fresh rosemary (used dried and still delish)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees . In a small bowl, whisk the oil, lemon zest and juice, mustard and garlic; season the dressing with salt and pepper.
On a rimmed baking sheet, toss the potatoes, chicken, rosemary and sliced lemon with the dressing; season. Arrange the potato mixture and chicken, skin side up, in a single layer.
Roast, turning the potatoes once, until the potatoes are golden brown and tender and the chicken is cooked through, 35 to 40 minutes.
Sorry, no NI but ingredients are easy enough to figure. With Boneless Skinless thighs it is about 5 SPs, with regular skin on thighs about 8 SPs.

I had a whole post that was lost in sending it. Very upset. It has to do with the hotel internet.
So this is just a short post to say hello. So far we have 111 birds for the trip. Tomorrow we are going for more. We spent the day at the Naples Botanical Garden. What a great place. We walked about 5 miles there. I think that we covered every path and every habitat. The flowers were spectacular.
Sue, I should hope that you had indoor recess today. -13 is ridiculous to have the kids playing outside. That seems like dangerous cold to me.
Have a great night shari
