Good morning, Lori - congratulations! You did it! I am very happy your boss was smart and made it worth your while to stay. You have worked so hard to get the place running correctly.
i didn't get to join the hike today, not enough car seats available. CBL Debbie

Lori Congratulations on the degree. Your company was wise to show how they value you.
Debbie How disappointing. Maybe next time you'll get a seat.

Hi,
Thanks for starting us, Debbie. I'm sorry that it didn't work out for you to go on the hike this time, but now that you know about the hikes, you will have future opportunities. I haven't heard of the GAP class, it sounds very challenging.
Hi Brenda, you are correct. It will take a bit more time to get the new place set up, and there is a wall repair that needs to be done before I can get everything completely moved. The previous occupant had their whiteboard mounted in a place that doesn't work for me, and since someone else took the whiteboard for their office, there are scrapes and scars where the previous one was hung. So once the wall repair and whiteboard move is done, the rest of the moving can be completed. I'll probably spend some time getting things wrapped up next weekend so that I can focus on only the moving/organizing tasks.
Hi Lou, wow, what a sleep-in you had on Friday! I hope you enjoyed your day off. I wish I would have saved some old spiral journals when I had the chance as a WW employee. I'm not such a fan of the current journals but I found a way to make them work better for me.
Hi Lori. Big congrats on that GPA and getting your master's completed. Nice win on that offer to stay at your current place, too. I hope that you had a great time celebrating.
Hi Vicki, yes, I am training for another HM. I have one on 5/12 and another on 5/19. After that I don't have any firm plans for another HM until October. I would like to get two more in this year but not sure if it will work out. I have to get my vacation days completely set before I will know how I stand with getting more in. There aren't many options that don't require at least one day away from work.
I missed checking in yesterday. I went to WW meeting first thing and then dove right in with work. We are meeting in a hotel conference room for the next 4 - 6 weeks while our WW center is being remodeled. It is a nice facility but very noisy. I had lunch with a long time BFF. We have been friends since we were classmates in the fourth grade. We do not get to see each other F2F very often, so it was really great to see her again. I volunteered at a spring carnival held at an elementary school near my office. We are community partners with the school and it is fun to help and interact with the kids. I enjoy being around kids, but I definitely don't have the patience to do a teacher's job. Today, I did a 5K fundraiser for St. Jude with three of the walking gang. A former co-worker and still current friend has a 9 year old DS currently at St. Jude's battling cancer, and we were part of a team supporting him. I had breakfast with my walking buds, then ran errands and had lunch with DS at our favorite Mexican restaurant. I am home getting things done and will go to dinner with DH this evening. Tomorrow I am meeting BWF at the state park where the 5/19 HM is being held to do a long training walk. It should be a nice day but will be very chilly to start. We have an overnight frost advisory.
Take care, Ginia

Hi, Happy Sunday! Virginia - what a fun busy day you had yesterday, seeing long time BFF must have been wonderful. I hope today there was perfect weather for your long trading day.
This morning Ted decided we should go explore again to a section of town about 45 minutes walk away. We arrived to find out there was going to the Spanish Final rugby match going on. So we went to our first rugby game. It was very exciting. It is really windy outside so we get to relax. Debbie

Good afternoon
Debbie, what fun you and Ted are having!
Virginia, hope the office settles down soon for you. New dig's are fun sometimes. Great steps today!! Nice of you all to help out with St. Jude. Sorry for your friend's son.
Vicki, great steps for you too! You and Virginia always rock the Sundays.
Waving to Lou and Lori
Went to my ww meeting this morning and did a no wi. It was a good meeting.

Hi,
Thanks for the Sunday start, Debbie. Yes, it was great to see BFF. Today was a pretty decent training day, it was a bit on the windy and chilly side to start but it got nicer. I've never seen a rugby game. Rugby is not especially popular in this area.
Hi Brenda. Yes, once all the loose ends are tied up with the office it will be nice, maybe even better than my former location. Thanks, hopefully our St. Jude patient will have a forever remission/cure. Many people are pulling for him. Thank you, it was great to get a good step total yesterday and today. I'm glad that your WW meeting was a good one.
Today was a 10 mile walk in the state park where the 5/19 HM is being held. It was fairly hilly. Now that I have been in the park I am going to take a look at the course map to get a better idea of the route. BWF and I had lunch after the walk, then I stopped in to see DS for a bit. Now it's time to get the laundry and chores done at home.
Waving hi to Lou, Vicki and Lori...I hope you are all having an enjoyable Sunday.
Take care, Ginia

Good afternoon and greetings from the couch! sunrose49 - I found a few spiral journals! DM me if you're interested. I @tted you so, it'd ping you back here. Professional rugby championship? And you could just walk up and buy tickets, Debbie? HUGE UPS TO LORI ON KNOCKING HER MASTERS OUT! NOW ON TO A DOCTORATE! And congrats on getting a counter and having a little respite where you can just do the job you know foe a while! HM's two weekends in a row, Virginia? My knees ache on your behalf. Or it might be the wandering Cecilia and I did this weekend. Who's to say? We went to Elkhart, IN this weekend. Checked out a couple antique stores, a Comic Book museum and an RV show. Also had a very nice birthday dinner.
