Winter is here!! We have 54 days till Spring March 20 ,2017. This is time enough to start to develop new goals and approaches for goals with exercise and healthy eating. Whether gym at home or outside we can exercise and see the benefits by Spring. Tracking our healthy eating helps us lose weight.
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you Can set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs from January 1 to March 20.

Good morning! It's Wednesday and today's daily challenge is to Journal It! I am a terrible tracker but just for today I will try my hardest to track it!
Challenges this week:
Sun -go the extra mile!
Mon -OP day
Tues -work those arms!
Wed -journal it
Thurs -at least 6 servings water
Fri -at least 5 servings fruits&veggies
Sat -work those abs

I put my weight for Saturday in but I am even higher today, so today I am starting fresh--like I am new! I just have got to quit playing around with this and get it done!

Mo good morning. I go to WW today. The last 2 days of eating not good so fresh start today too. My downfall pastries downstairs weeksays. Then after that I eat badly the rest of the day. I may get up to 200 fear. It is snowing. very slippery mixed freezing rain with now snow over.Snow continues all day. My treedmill is comeng today. 1145 to 145 windows. May cancel WW.

In 15 minutes I will cqnc3l pratransit to WW. It affects Adam who rides with me for free. But I just do not want to be late for the treadmill. i hope I get the treadmill.

Mo thanks for the start. I need to get the weight off too. I just turned 63 on 1/16. I have never been so unhealthy and I know it is due to the weight.
Amy good luck today. I hope you get the TM too.
Debbie that's great the shoes are working. I need new ones too. So sorry to hear about your band leader and cousin's wife. So sad.
I went to my WW meeting yesterday. It was good. Been meeting my 10K steps this week. My left foot is hurting me. I think I have a stress fracture (another reason to get this stupid weight off).
Weather is really nice here today. Outside for a walk it is!!

Sounds like time for new beginnings all around! Perfect for the new year!
Amy, a new TM, how exciting!!
Brenda, why do you think you have a stress fracture? I hope not! If you think you do you might want to consider having a bone scan of your foot. Xrays don't usually show a stress fracture but a bone scan will -and then you'd want to stay off that foot for 4-6 weeks. I speak from experience, whine.
Brenda, enjoy your walk outdoors today!! Maddie will like that too!
Winter has found Syracuse again so we just have to get used to it and enjoy dreams of spring. My foot hurts (not surprising). I'm beginning to think I should be on crutches for awhile to avoid walking (but still use the exercise bike since it's not weight bearing). I have an appointment and presumably xray next week with the podiatrist -I'll ask him. But in spite of my continuous whining, the bone stimulator does seem to be helping, the foot is improving, I just didn't think it'd take so long!

Madison snowing till midnight since last night. I hope sears and the treadmill come. 1145 to 145 It is 1140 right now. Did not eat pastries today. Going to eat now.

snowed out delivery of treadmill. But 10am to 12pm tomorrow is the window. i went to a birthday party downstairs brought bread and tunafish ate carrots and my tunafish sandwich. Lots of pizzas ordered cakes all kinds of chips and candy. my WW buddy with me ate a slice of pizza. Much more to eat before 10pm when I take my medication.
