This challenge was created six years ago by a few Weight Watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isnβt always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ optional ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 30 Day Self-Love Challenge:
DAY 5: Over morning tea or coffee, jot down five things for which you are grateful today (e.g., the sun is shining, I feel good, my partner made me coffee, etc.).
DAY 6: Remove visible clutter from your desk at work and tables at home. Clearing clutter helps clear your mind.
Good Afternoon, positive π₯π₯! Wow, it's Cinco de Mayo π²π½ and also the Kentucky Derby π΄
Teri, come back! We miss you!
Yesterday, I did take 2 breathing breaks, and it really helped my disposition!
Today, I'll try for 5 instead of my usual 3 positives, LOL
Yes I DID: --try a yummy "super coffee" (skinnier alternate to the Bulletproof drink Jan mentioned) before Tap. This has the MCT oil but whey protein instead of butter & a little stevia/monk fruit sweetener, 80 cal. for 12 oz. I felt good (if not bulletproof....) --love getting back to Tap lessons, yay! --respectable showing in the Fitbit workweek challenge (thanks Sally for nudging me) --happy scale at WW....down 2 from last wk's bloatfest, only 0.6 above the top of my target wt range....plateau, I WILL bust you!
Yes it IS a sunny dayπ€
So, the WW weekly topic is plateaus...this is me! Anyone else struggling to move off the plateau?
Be well! Carol
Good afternoon positive peeps! Carol the breathing really helps relieve the tension in the muscles. I didn't get to my 4 though. I obviously need a little post-it note reminder!! I will sit down with my afternoon tea (since I missed reading the challenge this morning) and list 5 things. Oh I'm looking forward to tomorrow's decluttered desk LOL! Sally, I didn't realize Teri moved to Seattle. I know she has family up there. So glad you guys got together. Wish she'd get back in here Carol your version of bulletproof sounds good! I might give that one a try. I'm enjoying a little coconut oil in mine (which also makes my lips nice and smooth when I drink it! Yes I CAN: Get out of this chair and step it up. Track like a fiend. Be kind to my body. Take time out for something fun. Happy Saturday and Cinco de Mayo! Nat
