This challenge was created six years ago by a few Weight Watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isn’t always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

Good Evening, positive ones!
Sally - thanks for starting us out! Go blue dots!
Welcome, Kitty! I love these message boards...these wonderful e-pals are my support system !
Nat - kudos for saying no to those Reeses...you are a stronger woman than I....I cannot have them in my house, cannot stop at one.
We also had T-storms (Western NY) and rain spritzes on and off all day. The sun finally showed up late this afternoon, but I had already walked the treadmill.
Yes I DID: --bike 25 miles yesterday, gorgeous weather! on part of an old rail-trail we hadn't been on in awhile (and I slept over 9 hours last night, totally exhausted, LOL) --Silver Sneakers circuit at the Y this a.m. --treadmill while I caught up on TV episodes (Chicago Med. My sweetie does NOT like watching hospital shows, which are so graphic these days)
Yes I CAN: --make a healthy stir fry (new recipe) for dinner --get enough sleep again
Sorry I wasn't able to post the 30 day challenge item this a.m., T'storms got in the way...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ optional ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 30 Day Self-Love Challenge:
DAY 15: Move more. Exercise makes you feel invigorated. You can start small with 10 gentle leg lifts or other form of gentle stretching before rising from bed.
Be well! Carol
Good evening positive peeps! Welcome to Kitty! Carol, 9 hours of sleep, yay!! My sleep has been totally off the last several days and I'm not sure why. As far as the Reese's, it's my favorite and normally if I know it's there, I will pounce on it. The benefit of doing these vegan cleanses is the cravings for that go away. Wish I could say they'd go away forever, but I've been through this before and eventually the carb/sweet cravings rear their ugly heads again if I dare to splurge on something. Snowball effect. So I will ride the no cravings wave while I have it! At the moment, I crave an egg/veggie breakfast LOL. I have a sweet potato baking in the oven for tonight's Thai stuffed sweet potato. For day 15 challenge today, I've been working on this and have upped my steps a lot this month. I have always hit my 10k but oftentimes 12 to 13k. Loving the gazelle while I watch my shows. Yes I CAN: Exceed my step goal Stick to my plan Still consider yesterday's challenge of trying new things, it's a tough one for me. Back to work. Waves! Nat
