Good Evening,
TOday I met with the HVAC people who cleaned the dryer vent/duct. THis involved moving the shoe racks out of laundry room, sweeping, some coats, etc. so they could move machines. BTW..Are you still loving your new washer and dryer?
Crafting: Got some printing done to make the little things I wanted to make and some stain to finish off the wood burning project. THat picture is sketch of antique fishing lure I did this morning so I could have a "male" oriented item, not that women don't fish too. So imagine a piece of card stock cut in a strip barely wider than a 3x3 inch sticky note pad but almost 3x as long. There are two fold, glue the sticky note pad toward the lower part of the card stock, fold card stock from underneath, over the bottom part of the sticky note pad it covers about 1/3 from the bottom. Then bring the top of the card stock by folding over from the top, it overlaps the bottom part of card stock. I snip velcor self adhesive pieces to the lower and upper flap, so it stays closed. Then I printed 2.5 x 2.75 inch squares of my designs, like that fishing lure to the part that is the cover. So it's like a little covered notebook you can slip in your purse or a glove compartment of a car. They are super cute....at least I think so.
I grocery shopped, put hand wash items away, washed another sinkful, made banana bread and an awesome spaghetti dinner, laundry x1, dealt with teen situation and remained emotionally elegant!

That covered notebook is so cute!!! And Congrats on remaining emotionally elegant--IMO, nobody notices these victories but I do! I love my new washer dryer combo. Just miss the noise of the agitator as it is one I lived with for so many years. Strange but true. I am considering taking a couple of online courses to help with my doggie dilemmas. For Clair's over the top love of people and her reaction to them: Overgreeters Anonymous (that title made me laugh as it is so true). For Samson BravePaw's fear of everything imaginable in the city: Dealing with the Bogeyman, Helping Fearful, Reactive and Stressed Dogs (that is him in a nutty shell). And for me: May the Reinforcer be with you (for people who have started taking all of this as though it a life and death matter, and are losing the "fun" of it all--kind of like when crafting becomes work). They start June 1st so I will see how much I can realistically commit to. The ones for Sam and me would easily be integrated into what we are doing already. However I know that I would pick up enough tips that any or all of them would be so beneficial.
Some type of virus is giving me laryingytis so that is probably why I fell asleep last night so early. Just zonked off watching TV.
Hope you have a great day!!!!

I had to laugh at the "fear of" things - Waylon decided on Tuesday that he was afraid of the dandelions that had gone to seed. I guess he thought they were mini balloons. He does not appreciate balloons!! Once he got into the scary field, he did his business and went back inside. Thank goodness that they keep the dandelions down here at my condo.
