Winter is here!! We have 54 days till Spring March 20 ,2017. This is time enough to start to develop new goals and approaches for goals with exercise and healthy eating. Whether gym at home or outside we can exercise and see the benefits by Spring. Tracking our healthy eating helps us lose weight.
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you Can set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs from January 1 to March 20.

Mo thanks for the start. The water day is easy for me too. I love being here with you ladies. Keeps my head in the game.
Debbie I had a stress fracture over a year ago. It felt like that. Still bothers me a bit, but not too bad. I'm sure the ankle recovery has been hard for you. You are such an active person. Hang in there.
Amy I hope you get the TM today! Great job on what you ate at the party.
So far this week I am meeting my 10K steps every day. Nice weather here.

Amy, bummer about the snow delaying your TM delivery! I hope you get it today! WTG yesterday at the party! Don't go downstairs, lol! Pastries would really tempt me too!
Brenda, WTG on the 10,000 steps, woohoo! Weather here is good for Syracuse (that is, almost no snow on the ground), but it's a bit grim out. And winter is on its way for the weekend. Although most intermittent snow showers around Syracuse while up north they're getting buried!
I made it to the gym again last night for spinning. That's 5 days in a row, woohoo! And I'm planning to go again tonight plus do the arm weight machines. Hopefully I'll also get there tomorrow morning for the 5:45am spinning class and then I'll take a DOR on saturday. Golds gym is having another 12 week fitness challenge starting this week, so I signed up and had my initial WI and measurements taken last night. Since I'm pretty limited in what exercises I can do (bike -no standing, weight machines), I'll have to concentrate on my diet. Which is a good thing as that is where I fall down everytime I start making progress with my weight. I LIKE exercising but I also really like eating, lol!

I have a new reward for myself that's not too expensive -each week if my WI is down even just 0.1 pounds, I get to buy a scratch off lottery card. I like the poker ones in particular, lol. So far I'm down 2 pounds this week so if I don't blow it by saturday, I get a lotto card, woohoo!

i like the idea of a lottery card. I asked my trust to pay for Dan MRINO NUTRISYSTEM DINNERS. I AM GETTING MEALS ON WHEELS FOR LUNCH. I BOUGHT SOME LEAN CUISINE FOR DINNERS AND LUNCHES TILL I START ON Monday with meds on meals weekdays. I bout the lean cuisine before I get nutrisystem dinners The dinners look good. and meals on wheels is going to give me the menu each day. The lean cuisine is 270 calories twice a day. 4 tuna sandwhihs with healthy life bread 35calories a slice. and oatmeal and 4 apples 34 points. i amy not know the meals on wheels calories but I will ask; I got my treadmill too late to do it today. It was put together and doing it tomorrow. It fits on the mats I put down on the carpet. So it is not directly on the carpet. I am stuffed got a 16 inch pizza. Asked russ to the me tonight and he did for 8 lean cuisine I will buy when I shop Tuesday for two weeks and until the nutrisystem comes.
