Good Morning,
Organization: When at the craft warehouse outlet sale they had sturdy square baskets with cut out handles. I bought one of each size, a larger one and smaller one, they were regularly $39 and $29 marked down to $8 and $10. Took most of the build up occurring behind the dining room drapery panels of DH's stuff, work stuff and put in these baskets then placed them side by side on the lower shelf of the sofa table, behind sofa. This sofa table is viewable from dining room table area. At first I was disappointed there were not two of same size but now I'm not! Setting side by side, they look like a design element rather than storage filled with carp. Also to help with "the look" I cut pieces of black felt material from craft cupboard to fit inside, but cover top of contents. This was good idea as it's a step down into formal LR and if sitting at dining room table if you looked, you could see they were filled with miscellaneous, messy carp. But now it looks nice, tidy, and there is containment. CB'd two cardboard boxes which where stacked behind the panels and there was a 12-14 inch round saw blade there as well I deposited on DH work bench in garage. Success!
AM CB: Two containers from fridge tossed.
Kids to school with lunches.
More later.
Hope your day is off to a good start!
Z.

Z, Such a clever idea! And turning it into a design element was a stroke of CBing genius. Loved reading the description of the setting, where they are located etc. So interesting! More of the same as yesterday for me today--completed to jobs from the office. This work involves finding out what the client did wrong and then fixing it. It has to be done at a rather slow pace to make sure it is done correctly since something can appear to be what it isn't or it can have other factors complicating it that might be overlooked. Slow is not a good speed for me! Kind of depresses me to have to work like that--much more fun to go fast when doing any type of work. I did go out for several short walks and promised myself a reward for plowing through these jobs--typically we will save the worst for last since they are so much more time consuming. However if I can get 8 done next week I will be over the hump and then will just have to do the stragglers.
I saw cushions I might buy for some of the patio furniture. They are bright and cheerful. I measured what I have so I will stop by the store this weekend to see if they will work.
We have been having lots of cloudy weather and rain which is very unusual for us. I like it though, so cool, very pleasant as far as I am concerned.
Dog training classes this weekend. You'd think these dogs would be able to speak four different dog languages by now. Actually I would like to check into a hotel somewhere (food needs to be OP) and just relax the entire weekend. That would be heaven for me.
Hope you are having a great night!
