So how is everyone doing resisting sweet, skipping work outs, that extra drink? What ever your temptation is, no matter how big or small it is, give yourself credit for not giving in.
Whether it was several times or just once. Each time makes you stronger.
I was going to make this a daily thread- but as you can tell, I'm not that good with keeping it up. So feel free to start it up if you need the motivation. Otherwise it will be a here and there thing

We have eaten dinner home 90% of the month, and every day this week so far. That is huge for us as that is a big vice for us!
I've resisted spending on anything other than gas, groceries and medicine. I keep track of all my spending. My DH does lunch out and pays for dinners so I just write down "Rick dinner" on my spending tracker.

Good job Heather!
I was given a box of gourmet cookies (as a gift) Tuesday night. Without opening the box, I sent them to work with my partner. If they had been here last night, I may have seriously been tempted. So glad I got rid of them quick.

Great job Heather and Doordie!! I have been going to gym but haven't been able to resist the wine temptation during the week. I usually try to curb any wine drinking during the week and indulge on weekends, so I need to work on that. I also have been eating more snacky type stuff like, crackers.. nuts and such. My choices are not bad ones but just too many of that kind of stuff in a day..scale is showing it as well.

Doordie- great job! I just fell off the wagon! THUNK! Someone brought in homemade sugar cakes (small fluffy sugar cookies) with chocolate chips) I had two. I guess that's what they make weekly points for!

Not exactly resisting but I did not eat the whole desert last night which was 2 blondies topped with bourbon ice cream and caramel. Going out to dinner again tonight and Saturday night. I do so much better when I cook!

I resisted chocolates at a meeting at work the other day; it was tough. I also resisted the temptation to go off the rails after dark on the weekend this week (always a challenge for me).

I have my moments.
When I went to the movies yesterday, I bought/ate/drank NOTHING. Which is HUGE for me because, after all, I can watch movies and eat/drink nothing at home without paying for a ticket.

Zazzles, that is a great thought, I don't need to eat at home when I watch movies, so why do I need to eat at the theater? I hope I think of this next time I go, Thanks

I eat when I watch a movie whether I'm at home or at the theatre. Good for you though, zazzles! That would have been a rough one for me too.

After serious rub in with sugar and fat last night, pushed the reset button and have made good choices. Chose apple slices as my dessert at lunch. Yay me!

There was no resisting this weekend. However, it's Monday and I'm back on track.
