Happy Monday!!
I really need to try and do babysteps. I think when I make long lists I get overwhelmed just looking at them. I am planning on doing some personal paperwork on my 1/2 lunch time.
List: Journal and make health choices Read and fill out info from financial adviser Send email to DH re: new job benefits Dr. appt. Check to see if there is anything around the nightstand on the floor Talk to DS about helping him job hunt Hang up DH's clothes and dry towels

Good Afternoon, Flyangels!
Cathy - I'm feeling the same way about the long lists...great if/when they are done, but overwhelming looking at all those not-yet-dones crying for attention
My two priorities for today were to get to the library, which I did this morning, and to clear off my computer desk.
My computer currently is upstairs. The shelves in this old room are still chock full of old (but not collectible!) books belonging to my sweetie's parents and the desk and file cabinets are crammed with his ancient financial and work-related papers. He will need to deal with all that, it's not my stuff😉. My paperwork is strewn about on the computer desk and then some is in various piles elsewhere in the house. On the other hand, my new office is on the 1st floor and rear of the house, far from our computers. We may need to reconfigure! It would be nice if I could work on my online course assignments from my nice, new office area. Anyway, my first task is to clear off the paper mess around the OLD computer area. So, that's my number ONE item to do today.
Be well! Carol

Carol: I need to make my home office a priority also, it is a mess and I can't use it. However, I have always envisioned it as a lovely space to have a chair and a small space for my laptop. I really need to make it a priority. The only problem I have is that in the summer it is really hot in my office even with the air conditioning.
List: Journal and make health choices (need to keep working on this) Read and fill out info from financial adviser Send email to DH re: new job benefits (done) Dr. appt. (done) Check to see if there is anything around the nightstand on the floor Talk to DS about helping him job hunt (ongoing) Hang up DH's clothes and dry towels

My list is about the same because last night we had a bit of family stuff go on that was not part of my plan. I did however make a healthy dinner that my DH enjoyed (unfortunately I did way too much snacking which is my evening downfall). Today I am going to concentrate on journaling everything I eat.

Sorry I've been MIA this week, have not been doing my lists! I have been productive...just not very organized about it...probably could have done better.
Yesterday (Wednesday) I went to the chiropractor, made the appointment to have my car's safety recall repair done (will be done June 11th). Bought two flats of annuals from the local farm stand & brought to Old House. Put some annuals in a planter in the backyard. Talked to my handyman about yard work needing done. Bought supplies for my office and summer course. But I guess I tried to do too much in one afternoon, by the time I got home & made dinner etc. it was nearly 10 PM!
Here's my Thursday list: 1 workout - Silver Sneakers & treadmill ✅ 2 get student photo ID taken - ✅ 3 gardening at Old House - weeded & planted some impatiens.✓..did about 1/2 of them, will do more over the weekend 4 quick grocery run ✅ 5 sign up for online resources for the textbook 6 review course syllabus 7 evening routine & tracking✅

Carol, I totally get what you are saying, I seem to be doing lots of family paperwork at night plus we have a lot going on at home so when I get home I make dinner, do what ever needs to be done for paperwork, do my evening routines, and crash.
Tonight is one thing:
Go to store and relax, it is a 3 day weekend.!
Hope to get stuff done on the weekend.
