I get a Farm2Home basket every two weeks from the special education class where I work. This week I had some fresh parsley included in my basket and I hate to waste it but I am not sure what to do with it. Ideas would be appreciated. I am not a great cook btw Not terrible but not great LOL

You can add it to almost anything. It can be mixed with salad greens or used on top of eggs, main courses, vegetables. It's nice with small potatoes or carrots.

Thanks Audrey, I was thinking of an omelette, but I would not cook it in the omelette just sprinkle on after it's done, right? Sorry, I am challenged in the kitchen.

Good ideas. Thanks for sharing. If it was cilantro, I'd have suggestions.

gottakeeptryin I just used some tonight in my baked ziti with spinach and turkey sausage. It will work in any Italian dishes Also you can freeze it if you run out of ideas before it goes bad! Or tie a sting on it, hang it upside down and dry it out.

I use it in chicken soup and beef soups. I keep mine in the freezer and just tear off bunches to put in the soup.

Do you like tabbouleh? That's the first thing I think of when i think of lots of parsley.

Tabbouleh is a great use for it. Also look up recipes for chimichurri. It's an awesome sauce that goes with everything.

Baby potatoes steamed with chopped fresh parsley are really good.

I don't cook much either but I love fresh parsley although I haven't had much luck freezing it, I love it on boiled new potatoes, in salads, veggies, omelettes, meatloaf, meatballs. I can just take a sprig & eat it (freshens breath).
