Winter is here!! We have 53 days till Spring March 20, 2017. This is time enough to start to develop new goals and approaches for goals with exercise and healthy eating. Whether gym at home or outside we can exercise and see the benefits by Spring. Tracking our healthy eating helps us lose weight.
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you Can set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs from January 1 to March 20.

Good morning! It's Thursday and today's daily challenge is to eat 5 of both or either fruits and veggies!
Challenges this week:
Sun -go the extra mile!
Mon -OP day
Tues -work those arms!
Wed -journal it
Thurs -at least 6 servings water
Fri -at least 5 servings fruits&veggies
Sat -work those abs

GOOD MORNING. Did my first segment on the treadmill this morning at 2.1mph. half a mile. at 15 minutes. I hope to do 2-4 miles a day. 60-120 minutes.

I think I will try for 4 segments and 2 miles to start with I get 6 eps minus 3 for 3 a day. for 60 minutes treadmill low. I am going to sleep earlier again to have the hours to get it done. I asked the trust to send a check to cvc for the nutrisystem dinners only which is sort of like a lean cuisine. I got lean cuisine for the dinners and the 2 days I don't get inch with meals on wheels. That will be harder without nutritional breakdown. the lean cuisine is about 8 pints and the nutrisystem will probably be similar. If I enter that for lunches I do not think it will be higher than 8 points. The nutrisystem with the highest saturated fat comes to 8 points the protein is high. I am eating 4 apples,4 tuna sandwiches with healthy life bread. oatmeal lean cuisine twice or meals on wheels and lean cline 1 of each until I get dinners and then nutrisystem dinner and meals on wheels lunch. weekdays for meals on wheels.

Good morning Amy. I am glad you are doing so well! I am hopping on the wagon too. I feel good about my last few days so hopefully can get on the losing side again!

I always like the fruit and veg challenge. I have a banana to eat for break and could order a salad for lunch.

Hi Mo. Today I start over. Did my second segment. So 1 mile done 1 more to go today. Going to eat for the first time today oatmeal.

I met my 10K goal at 11:59 p.m. last night. My dog kept looking at me like what are you doing. She was in my bed and I was walking the room. Today will be another 10K day and weights.

i did 5k 3.1 miles in90 minutes at 2.1 miles. meals on wheels starts monday they are doing weekdays but more if assessment shows i need more

Hi Mo! I'm glad you're feeling in control this week!
Brenda, way to get those 10,000 steps in before midnight, lol! You rock!
I made it to the 5:45am spinning class this morning. I'm having some tummy woes so stayed home and worked online instead of in the office. I tried out my new toy and I think it's going to work well. It's the little elliptical machine that's the foot gliders only that you can do while seated. I had no problem working on my laptop while gliding away, lol! I forgot I was even doing it after awhile. It's not like some great workout but it much better than just sitting on my arse all day at a desk and it wasn't too pricey (around $80).
