Rhododendron is the NY State flower. It is against the law to pick them in the woods. The bushes here were huge this year.
Nap time.
Phyl, my a1c was 6.4. Hooray!

Beautiful rhododendrum, Cat. I love them and all of ours are really full and pretty this year also. It amazes me that such a beautiful flower has no smell. But look out for the big bumble bees , they love that flower.
Will post a picture of the mountain laurel that is our state flower. almost like the rhodie!!

Today has seemed like an extra long day. It's all relative to attitude! I can do lots of things that I couldn't do two weeks ago, but there's a long way to go.
We've had some major rain, hail, a T storm, rain, sunshine, and more of the same until noon tomorrow.

Still waiting for the mechanic, he did say that he wasn't sure when he'd get here, depending on what goes on at the Dr.'s office. Did the Costco run, picked up one script and forgot the one for the colonoscopy, and dropped of a donation to ARC. The trash man has come and gone, but the recycle man hasn't been by yet. Paid what bills I can pay, an figured out the monthly budget, and kept adding more recycling to the recycle bin, that recycle guy better show up soon or i'll have to take out a second bin; also made out my shopping list, but the dining table still looks like a tornado went over it. My sis-in-law called while I was out running around, guess I'd better respond back to her. Think I'll text back a response, don't really feel like talking to her.
Ok ladies, not sticking up for King, but he can't help it if he's a jerk. I suspect that all those trips he made by himself he was able to find female companionship, which grew. But is violence really the answer and will it make you feel better while sitting in a cell? I reckon not. Remember what goes around comes around and he will get his eventually. Patience. I know that my ex had come by looking for my son a couple of years ago but my son wasn't here and didn't live here. This isn't helping Doris, and this kind of talk is not healthy, both MJ and King, and Debbie and Jeff's situation does not need to be aired out here with our opinions and feelings. Yes we aren't happy, but there's not a thing we can do except keep them in our prayers, yes even the bum they are struggling as well. This is my opinion, getting off my soap box.
My bone density results came back, and it's worsened since 2015 to osteoporotic, but the risk of hip fracture has increase above the threshold so meds are in my future. My liver enzymes are slightly elevated so hopefully I can get some blood drawn next week, and my a1c is going dow 5.4. If I didn't know half this I would of thought I was in pretty good health. Still waiting on the results of the mammogram. Hopefully that will be good too.
Thanks for dressing up the thread with the beautiful flowers.
Have a good rest of the day, and if I don't get back may all of you get a good nights sleep.

Beautiful flower Cat you are on a roll!!
I am off to relax and get comfy! Tired tonight but sure I won't go to bed early or anything like that. We had a heavy down pour and one clap of thunder. Now maybe my weeds will pull out easier this weekend. Sure hope so. Have to edge the white stones in the back. I dont' have a border for them, out front have brick but out back never did put anything there just keep it edged the best I can and the lawn guy runs the weed eater along it too.
Lucy love the picture of the blue bonnets, think we call them something different here in Pa. Will have to check on that.
Okay, Cat you jumped in there before I was finished!!! Don't forget our surprise tomorrow.

Hi!
Cat, thanks for the pretty flower! And thanks to all of you for your expressions of appreciation.
I received a video of JD today wiggling around and without oxygen for the first time! Yea!
We had an appointment early this morning up north. We spent some time driving around a new road (new to us!) in the country, had lunch at a Hardee's, and I picked up a few things for Mom. I paid bills until it was time to leave for the nursing home, and dropped them off at the post office where I picked up the rent checks.
DH went even further north. He just called awhile ago to let me know he'd be late -- there is leak in the propane tank at one of the rental houses. I visited Mom, and then came on home.
Tomorrow is WI for me, and it probably won't be good. I just can't seem to get back on program. I'm so doggone hungry!
Good night! See you in the morning! --Molly

My oldest DD will have her 35th anniversary on June 4th.....My baby son (50 yrs old) just had his 25th in March and my DD#2 will have her 28th in September. I must have raised them to have good taste in spouses.....LOL. They are all very happy with their choices - never hear complaints. My youngest DGS graduates from high school on the 6th...and is 3rd in his class and will head to college in September. My first DGGS will be born in June.
Jenny: Thanks for the info about finding the pots in the dollar store...I'll have to check that out - We do have a couple that are close to us. I was thinking of potting the babies when I split them into plastic cups. I can just poke holes in the botton and buy a plastic cup to water them from the roots.
Tucking you all in now in HOT PINK BLANKETS for the last time.....sweet dreams!
