Sorry Evan's appointment got cancelled. Gotta love that sunshine despite the wind. My former boss and I are going out for dinner instead of lunch today so I will have an opportunity to walk at lunch. Charlie did very well at the vet. I'm the only one he will allow to muzzle him. He put up a bit of a fight but the stitches were out in a few minutes and then he was all tail wags.

Hi MJ yes I think you are right about red skies in morning....hope your weather holds out for you.
Well, the DW man is here doing his thing. We need a different type of valve than what is in there, and unfortunately he doesn't switch that out. Sooooo, Carl called one of our neighbors and he knows exactly what to do pwwwww.....all I want is my DW up and running...waaaaaa LOL, okay, vent and my 'inner child' is done LOL.
yeah Susi, so happy that Charlie is happy! I hate seeing fur kids sick!
KOKO LaDonna, you can do this!
Going to unplug and get something accomplished....talk tomorrow!

Bee, that is awesome about the energy. I have been in La La Land too but today I am writing in the journal that has been on the coffee table for two weeks. June, I am praying that your mother is ok. Take care of yourself too this weekend. Ann, enjoy the new dishwasher. I hope you feel better too. Susi, I hope Charlie has a good vet appointment and the stitches come out easily. Naomi, was the appointment cancelled due to the weather? Has it been rescheduled? MJ, glad you found that sunbeam yesterday to get you through the day. Is there a good movie you can watch on tv during the quiet times?
It was 36 and crisp when I walked so I took Lily Belle on the longer walk through the country club. The river is high and flowing with water. It added 1500 steps to my day to take the extra part of the walk. The gallery show was fun but there was nothing I really liked. I saw a lot of people I have not seen in a while. We had Indian food for dinner and my weight is up a pound. It may be termporar but not what I needed. I am getting depressed about this whole weight thing. Not looking forward to the Mexican restaurant for lunch or the birthday party lunch I am planning for DD on Sunday. Need to get a grip and figure it out. At least dinners are all at home.

Hi... sleeping on and off, pushing fluids, doing a little laundry. Made a pot of chicken noodle soup. Txt from sister @ hospital keeping me informed. Mom still weak & will need rehab. Txt flying fast & furious all day including now.
Bee j- glad that this a a high energy day for you!
Naomi- hope that the hospital could schedule a Evan for the earliest possible date. So hard to worry @ loved ones.
Susi- glad that Charlie's stitches are out & reports are good. Hope you enjoyed your visit.
Ann-awk... it always is something. Did your friend complete the valve adjustment?
Mj-- stay strong! whay is it about those pantries (autocorrect had used the word panties!) w/ the junk food? There must be a secret siren song.
Audrey-- you may be feeling the backlash of Xmas still even though it's been a month. Can you try some baby steps steps-- just baby steps--to reboot your tracking? track Even if it Is as simple as tracking one meal- say dinner -- for one week or taking pictures of meals, you'll feel better having accomplished that.
LaDonna- love you recaptured your focus so quickly.
Waving hi to Tammary, Pam, Cyndee, & Annette

WI this morning and down .6. I'll take any movement in the correct direction. Today I'll focus on mindful eating, tracking, walking the halls and getting in liquids. This weekend I'll be working on clearing house to make it ready for dh's homecoming. Today we even focused on getting in and out of the car. Yay!

Audrey no problem as you will have that off in a couple of days . Now I on the other hand takes about a week to get myself back with my weight.
Yes Evan goes now not till May but it's not that he really has to be there like tomorrow they are looking something about the tiny hairs in your lungs I have no idea what that means. I just know it has something to do with his Asthma. But he does have bad Asthma and so did I . I get it now and then but not bad. Sometimes he is bad , but he has a lot of medicine that he takes to try and keep it from getting bad. But please keep him in your prayers thanks.
Pam down .6 that's awesome....Congrats Do sweet to hear about your husband. That's great soon he will be home with you.....

Audrey, look back over the last couple of months, two holidays and lots of other stuff going on. Your body may just need an extra time of rest. Enjoy your journaling.
CONGRATS, PAM! You are so right, any movement in the correct direction works. Will Hubby be coming home soon? Hope so. Like Dorothy said --- There's no place like home.

Pam, congrats on your loss. Yesterday I brought food to a friend whose husband just got home after spending three weeks in the hospital. She and her sister-in-law from Atlanta. took turns spending 3 hour shifts at the hospital while he was there. Like them you will just take baby steps like helping him getting in and out of the car. He can't eat food but I could tell the women were thrilled to get the food I brought. I hope he has a good recovery. Susi, I know you were happy to see those wags.
June, I have been tracking daily but I am not 100% about portion sizes and don't record those BLTs or the handful of nuts. Nuts are back in the bedroom and out of the pantry. Thank you

Audrey, hang in there. I am sure you will figure out what is going on. I've had many periods during the last year and a half when I felt I was doing everything right but the scale was barely moving but then all of a sudden things would pick up again. I agree with Bee, the holidays are barely over and you had several trips - just taking some time for everything to get back to "normal". I will say I still weigh and measure everything after all this time. I believe it really makes a difference.
June, glad your sister is keeping you in the loop. sorry y'all are having such a rough go lately.
Pam, yay!! congrats on your fabulous loss!

Audrey - Between holidays, vacations and family and friends stuff, you really are doing very well. Try to focus on your successes. June - I'm glad you are communicating with your sister. Sending prayers. Glad it's not an urgent thing Naomi but still, relief would be a good thing. Awesome Pam! It sounds like you and DH are both getting there!

Good Morning! Bright & chilly here this morning. That combo gives me such energy! The plan was me going off to the gym prior to working this afternoon but I think that I may have overdone the vegetables somewhat yesterday, if you know what I mean. Spinach salad w/walnuts and a few raisins for lunch, brussel sprouts & a veggie burger on 21 grain bread for dinner not to mention grapes, an apple and a banana as well! I do feel lighter though! LOL! Opting to take my dog on a mile+ walk as not to venture too far from home until all settles down. The upside to working a longer shift is that I can log 3 miles just walking in the store, so any additional step are welcome. Hope everyone has a fabulous day!
