Hi Cat and June Tunes,
66 and sunny! Wind ESE 8 mph, high 79, heavenly! Stayed in bed for about three hours playing games on the iPad. No special reason, just felt good, now I'm in catch up mode. Sheets are in the wash and should be ready for the dryer soon.
Yesterday I finished the graduation card, and started working on an anniversary card, also got a lot of errands run yesterday too. No AC guy tho - since his day was cut short due to a dr. appointment that really threw him behind, but he should be here today. Glad he's ok tho.
Not sure what I'll get done today besides the laundry, but not going to raise the bar higher than that. Will let you know how much really gets done if anything.
Yesterday's question: just plain old classic chips; today's question: no, but I do hear police, fire and ambulances. The fire station is a half block (at most) away.
Molly, are you deducting the cost of the post office box from your taxes? Keeping track of your mileages? Going to the PO to pick up rent checks, bills; every time you need to run around rental related? It all counts.
Jenny, sorry about Doggieboy, hope he get to feeling better soon.
Sandy, like you Bridget story. Thanks.
Doris, how's the hunt for a new place? Wish I were there to help with the packing.
Well, sounds like the washer is almost done, so better get the new load. Have a wonderful day every everyone, will try to get back later to see what y'all are up to.

I walked for the Cure. 2522 steps. Not much but good for me! Wore a purple hat. I’ll fall over now.

I can't hear church bells here, but before retiring I lived in lots of different places. Last place before retirement was across the street from a church, a K-8 parochial school and a junior high school. During the six months in senior living, we could hear traffic, trains and sirens all the time. I really enjoy living out of town in the country. The house is six miles south of Main Street, so everything is still convenient!
Today is sunny!

Sue, I am 6 miles out of town. Maybe 8 miles to Krogers and 10 from gym and church etc.
Ran the little sweeper in here and the kitchen. Still procrastinating on mopping the bathroom. If I get around to that then I will give the kitchen a lick and a promise with the mop.
Did my back exercises which gave me a little relief. Drinking a jar of iced tea. No lemon, just lots of ice.

Hello friends! Here I am on the iPad. I'm limited in what fonts/colors/sizes I can select.
Linda, yes I keep track of all those items and deduct them.
Doris, we're all concerned for you, MJ and the girls. I'm praying for an answer to your housing situation, so I will be interested in what you do. Do you need to stay in Nebraska until the divorce is final?
DH and I each had a church breakfast this morning. I also picked up some items at Walmart. Just after noon, we joined friends at church for a birthday party (the venue had been changed from their home after we had a big rain this moring.)
Now we're home and I'm getting ready to read.

Molly,
MJ's lawyer says it isn't necessary for her to stay in Nebraska until the divorce is final. I don't know if she would have to come back to be in court or not.

Molly, glad your keeping track of all of your expenses. Sometimes we tend to overlook the obvious on many things.
I have a nice cool house!!! YEAH!! And it only cost me $190. The capacitor needed replacing (wire burned out), and freon was added, also got a 25% sr. discount. He also said that the intake upstairs should be move up (not me close to the floor); said he could do it for less than $200 give or take (unless there are any problems), plus he said that he could do it and I can pay him later. Of course I would pay him when the work is done. He's the second person who has said that, but as you gals know, especially if you live alone, these guys would say that just to get more money from you. Plus he lives a few blocks from me so I told him he can come over anytime and check on the ac unit. This kind of service is very rare in this day and age. I will definitely refer him.
The laundry is done, just needs to be put away, not much else accomplished for the day, guess I better do something. Anyway have a great evening, and should I not get back may you all have a good nights sleep.
